They will be blamed. You will not accomplish offerings either. Therefore, greatly avoid the monks. Then, the Immaculate Daughter, in verses, spoke again to the Brahmin Brahma: Other than these who possess qualities, neither father nor mother are my refuge. Not the assembly of relatives, nor wealth, nor youth. These are the refuge for those who are immersed in samsara. I have given up my body with joy for the Buddha, likewise, I have given up my life and enjoyments. Other than the Three Jewels themselves being the refuge, there is no refuge or support for me among sentient beings here. Then, the Brahmin Brahma said this to the Immaculate Daughter: Daughter, since you were born, you have not seen the Buddha before, nor have you heard the Dharma before, nor have you attended to the Sangha before, why have you become so faithful to the Buddha? The Immaculate Daughter replied: Brahmin, seven days after I was born, when I was placed on a golden throne inside a sandalwood palace, I saw five hundred sons of gods desiring in the sky above. They praised the Buddha in various ways, and I heard them praising the Dharma and the Sangha. Then, the sons of gods asked the one among those sons of gods who had seen the Tathagata before: Friend, what is the Tathagata like? How can we know him there? Then, that son of gods, knowing my thoughts, and in order to make those sons of gods also generate faith, spoke these verses: His hair is immaculate, smooth, and beautiful, clean and soft, with locks coiling to the right. His face resembles a blooming lotus petal, like a crescent moon beautiful in the night sky. His urna hair is as good as snow and crystal, the hair between his eyebrows coils from the middle, and is extremely beautiful. He overwhelms all his retinue with majesty, and the Victor's face is also extremely beautiful. The king's eyes are beautiful, his cheeks resemble a lion's, his mind is strong and unyielding, his teeth are even and well-aligned. His tongue is large, covering the entire face, his face is immaculate and extremely beautiful. His speech is beneficial, pleasant, and appropriate, free from harsh words, not divisive, and without sin. Born

He performs immeasurable and boundless deeds, and also proclaims the words of the Victorious One for the benefit of beings. His throat is like a conch shell, and similarly, the fingers of the lord of men are long. His hand is like the trunk of an elephant, his chest is broad and immaculate, and his navel is deep and sunken. Like a noble horse, the hair follicles of his waist point upwards. Similarly, the pores of his hair are like gold, and the shape of his thighs is like the trunk of an elephant. His feet are well-placed, and his ankles are like those of an owl. The powerful one, the master of sages, speaks truthfully and is free from the fault of obesity. He subdues bad omens and destroys the sinful views of all. Even if hundreds of thousands of questions are asked in the assembly, he satisfies all sentient beings because he is free from error and fault. He satisfies the body with honest and unpretentious words, and Nirvana is the supreme bliss, a desirable and truly peaceful state. He shows all the wretched ones the desirable Nirvana and also teaches the Middle Way, which is free from the two extremes. He is one who has become a Buddha by himself, crossing over himself and also liberating others. He is the protector and refuge of beings, auspicious and beneficial, and he acts with compassion and benefit for all the world. These are the qualities of that teacher, and I have not spoken of other limitless qualities. Having heard this, the gods became delighted and also cultivated a mind of joy towards the Victorious One. Then, the immaculate daughter, given by, spoke these verses and said to the Brahmin Brahma: Brahmin, seven days after I was born, I heard such qualities of the Buddha. Having remembered them, from then on, I have never been overcome by dullness or sleep. I have never had thoughts of attachment to sensual pleasures, thoughts of anger, or thoughts of harm. Having remembered them, from then on, I have never felt joy for my father, or joy for my mother, or joy for my brother, or joy for my sister, or joy for my relatives, or joy for wealth, or joy for ornaments, or joy for clothes, or joy for my body, or joy for my life, or joy for the city, or joy for the sense bases. Brahmin, otherwise, I only remember the Buddha. Brahmin, I have focused my mind in three ways, in whatever direction the Thus Gone One resides.
