I should think of the idea that treasures filled with jewels will emerge in all houses. The Bodhisattva who completely eliminates all obstacles said: I should think of the idea that by this, the five obstacles of all the people in the great city of Shravasti will be completely cleared. The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara said: In any case, all the poor sentient beings in the city who are bound and secretly taken away will be liberated, and those who are threatened by fear will also obtain fearlessness. I should think of this kind of thought. The Bodhisattva Courage Stack said: By this, all the people in the city will talk to each other with poetic tones and loving hearts, and they will also gain courage. I should think of this kind of thought. The Bodhisattva Step Desiring Meaningful said: In any case, all the sentient beings in the city who appear in my sight will never regress from the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. I should think of this kind of thought. Then, those great hearers and bodhisattvas, speaking such words, went to the great city of Shravasti. At that time, the daughter of King Victory of the country of Kosala, named Immaculate Giving, had done great deeds for the victors of the past, accumulated virtuous roots, served many Buddhas, had patience for the profound Dharma, and had obtained the five superknowledges. That daughter, with pure divine eyes, surpassing human abilities, saw those bodhisattvas and great hearers, and also heard all the words they spoke on the way. That daughter was also of good form, beautiful, pleasing to look at, possessed of the most excellent complexion, loving to her parents and family, and twelve years old since birth. On the eighth day of the last spring month, on the day of the star Chitra, her parents allowed her to do good and auspicious things, so the Brahmins took yogurt and kusha grass.

用肉、花、燃香木、酥油和水瓶供奉的五百人围绕着，正当带领沐浴时，那些婆罗门看到了那些菩萨和声闻大弟子。看到后，他们生起“不吉祥”的想法。之后，那些婆罗门中最为年长的名为梵天神的婆罗门对无垢施女说道：“女儿，这些比丘坐在前面是不吉祥的。看到他们，无论是需求、财富、苦行、祭祀，还是吉祥都不会成就，离开城市吧。”之后，无垢施女用偈颂对婆罗门梵天神说道：“这些无染著是至上的吉祥，能摧毁众多众生的罪业。这些是清净且证悟四谛者，调伏且已解脱，安住于平等。这些是殊胜的二足尊，是福田。向他们供养，将往生天界。向他们供养，将获得不死之果。布施后，众生不会堕入恶趣。他们具有戒律和调伏，超越欲望且无罪无求。这些是至上的医生，是世间的眼睛，能救度被痛苦折磨的众生。佛陀是世间中的法王，这些是他的儿子，无尘无垢。这些是菩萨，此外再无其他。有智慧的人怎能舍弃他们？这些人修行苦行且平息贪欲，变得吉祥，智者降下布施之雨。即使对这些人稍作恭敬，人们也能成就佛法和财富。这些人具足一切相好和吉祥，这些人是殊胜的福田，具足清净之心。婆罗门，谁对这些人具有信心，那人将积累众多福德。”之后，婆罗门梵天神用偈颂对无垢施女说道：“不要顺从孩子的心意，不要在祭祀时观看比丘。身穿袈裟，剃着光头，不要因为贪图利益而观看他们。父母也不会高兴，我也不会高兴。”

Surrounded by five hundred people carrying meat, flowers, burning incense wood, butter, and water pots, as they were being led to bathe, those Brahmins saw those Bodhisattvas and great Shravakas. Having seen them, they remained with the thought that it was inauspicious. Then, among those Brahmins, the eldest Brahmin named Brahma Deva said to the maiden Immaculate Giver, "Daughter, it is inauspicious for these monks to be sitting in front. If one sees them, neither needs, wealth, asceticism, sacrifice, nor auspiciousness will be accomplished, so depart to the city." Then, the maiden Immaculate Giver spoke to the Brahmin Brahma Deva in verse: "These are stainless, supremely auspicious, destroying the sins of many beings. These are perfectly pure and have seen the four truths, are tamed and liberated, and abide in equanimity. These are the supreme two-legged beings, fields of merit. Offering to them, one will go to the higher realms. Offering to them, one will obtain the fruit of immortality. Having given, sentient beings will not go to bad destinies. They are endowed with morality and discipline, have transcended desire, are without sin, and have no expectations. These are the supreme physicians, the eyes of the world, liberating beings tormented by suffering. The Buddha is the lord of Dharma in the world, these are his sons, without dust and defilements. These are Bodhisattvas, there are no others. How can a wise person abandon them? These ones practice asceticism and pacify desire, have become auspicious, and the wise ones shower the rain of generosity. Even if one shows little respect to these ones, people will accomplish Dharma and wealth as well. These ones are fully endowed with all auspicious marks, these ones are supreme fields, endowed with pure minds. Brahmin, whoever has faith in these ones, that one will accumulate much merit." Then, the Brahmin Brahma Deva spoke again to the maiden Immaculate Giver in verse: "Do not go under the power of a child's mind, do not look at monks at the time of sacrifice. Those wearing ochre robes, likewise with shaven heads, one should not look at them out of desire for gain. Father and mother will also not be pleased, and I, too, will not be pleased."
