Does that person generate more non-merit from that basis? O Holder of Light replied: O Blessed One, he generates much. O Sugata, he generates much. In that realm, how many people are born? Are those people beaten with sticks? Are they struck with weapons? Are they defeated by being punched with fists, and then the enjoyments that are used, guests, gold, jewels, pearls, beryl, conch shells, agate, coral, salisbram, silver, various precious things, houses, vehicles, clothes, food, drinks, bedding, and the use of cushions, and the complete use, and the joy, and how many playful enjoyments are there, after all those are destroyed and plundered and taken away, what do you think, Light-increasing? From that basis, does that person generate a lot of non-merit? Light-increasing replied: Blessed One, he generates a lot. Sugata, he generates a lot. The Blessed One said: Light-increasing, you should accept it. You should understand that if someone, knowing that he has not attained the fruit and is an ordinary person, but because he desires gain, respect, and reverence, is suppressed and claims to be non-returning in front of others, and even enjoys a single alms, then he will generate even more non-meritorious aggregates. That will generate an inexhaustible aggregate of non-merit. Light-increasing, let alone the enjoyments used by all the people in the small thousand world. Light-increasing, suppose there arises a fourth kind of person who is extremely fierce, extremely rude, extremely endowed with cruel actions, extremely endowed with declining power, extremely endowed with great strength. Light-increasing, in that thousand world, does that person beat with sticks, strike with weapons, or defeat by punching with fists all the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-human beings? 以及，珍珠，和毗琉璃，和海螺，和玛瑙，和珊瑚，和萨列斯布拉姆，和银，和各种珍宝，和房屋，和车辆，和衣服，和食物，和饮料，和卧具，和垫子的近用和，受用和，喜悦和，嬉戏的器具有多少，那些全部摧毁并抢夺而拿走之后，光护你觉得怎么样？从那个基础上那个人不是会产生很多非福德吗？光护回答说：世尊，会产生很多。善逝，会产生很多。世尊开示说：光护你要相信。你要理解到，如果有人明明知道自己没有获得果位并且是凡夫，却因为贪图利养、恭敬和尊重，被这些所压倒，所以在其他人面前自称自己是 阿罗汉，并且无论如何也要让其他人知道自己是阿罗汉。心想一定要让别人知道我是阿罗汉，还装作阿罗汉的样子出现。也像阿罗汉那样做示范。像这样，具有罪恶欲望的人，甚至享用他人以信心布施的一口饭食，那么他就会积累更多更大的非福德之蕴。那会积累无尽的非福德之蕴。光护，因此，抢夺三千大千世界所有众生的所有安乐用具，都不如具有罪恶欲望的人享用以信心布施之物。光护，我没有见过比那种罪恶欲望更低劣的出家之法了。光护，这四种是声闻乘出家者的罪恶欲望。哪四种呢？希望见到未来的佛陀，希望获得转轮王的王位，以及希望获得其他王族种姓，和希望获得婆罗门种姓。这四种是声闻乘出家者的罪恶欲望。在何处有些

You should understand that, if someone clearly knows that he has not attained the fruit and is an ordinary person, but because he desires gain, respect, and reverence, he is overwhelmed by these, so in front of others he claims that he is an Arhat, and in any case, he must let others know that he is an Arhat.
