Applying terminology, applying the term 'name' to that which has no name, applying the term 'form' to that which has no form, applying the term 'feeling' to that which has no feeling, applying the term 'perception' to that which has no perception, applying the term 'formations' to that which has no formations, applying the term 'consciousness' to that which has no consciousness, applying the term 'aggregate' to that which has no aggregate, applying the term 'element' to that which has no element, applying the term 'source' to that which has no source, applying the term 'eye is empty,' but the eye does not think, 'I am empty'; applying the term 'form is empty,' but form does not think, 'I am empty'; applying the term 'eye-consciousness is empty,' but eye-consciousness does not think, 'I am empty'; likewise, ear, sound, ear-consciousness; nose, smell, nose-consciousness; tongue, taste, tongue-consciousness; body, touch, body-consciousness; applying the term 'mind is empty,' but the mind does not think, 'I am empty'; applying the term 'all phenomena are empty,' but all phenomena do not think, 'We are empty'; applying the term 'mind-consciousness is empty,' but mind-consciousness does not think, 'I am empty'; thus, for those without body, without mind, without things, without name, without characteristics, such phenomena as these, causing other sentient beings, other persons, to truly understand, this is the great miracle of the Thus-Gone One; that miracle is not associated with the eye, nor is it associated with form, nor is it associated with eye-consciousness, nor is it associated with the ear, nor is it associated with sound, nor is it associated with ear-consciousness, nor is it associated with the nose, nor is it associated with smell, nor is it associated with nose-consciousness, nor is it associated with the tongue, nor is it associated with taste, nor is it associated with the

It is also not associated with consciousness. It is also not associated with body. It is also not associated with touch. It is also not associated with consciousness of body. It is also not associated with mind. It is also not associated with all dharmas. It is also not associated with consciousness of mind. Such a miracle is a miracle without a place. That is a miracle apart from a place. That miracle is not seen as associated with body. It is not seen as associated with mind, intellect, and consciousness. Therefore, that miracle causes all the world to become unbelievable. Why is that? The so-called world refers to the five aggregates. Because children are attached to the impermanence of the five aggregates, and they hold the five aggregates as permanent. Therefore, that miracle causes all the world to become unbelievable. The world is attached to the five aggregates as permanent, so if it is said that they are impermanent, all the world will become unbelievable. The world is attached to the five aggregates as happiness, so if it is said that they are suffering, all the world will become unbelievable. The world is attached to the five aggregates as self, so if it is said that they are without self, all the world will become unbelievable. The world is attached to the five aggregates as pure, so if it is said that they are impure, all the world will become unbelievable. The world is attached to the five aggregates as mine, so if it is said that they are without an owner, all the world will become unbelievable. The world is attached to the five aggregates as true, so if it is said that they are not true, all the world will become unbelievable. Therefore, the miracle of the Tathagata causes all the world to become unbelievable. The mind will not rejoice in that miracle, that miracle is inconceivable. That miracle is not countable by the eye, nor is it countable by form, that miracle is of the eye and form...

is completely beyond the realm of . That miracle is not counted by the ears, nor is it counted by sound, that miracle is completely beyond the realm of ears and sound. Similarly, that miracle is not counted by the mind, nor is it counted by Dharma, that miracle is completely beyond the realm of mind and Dharma. That miracle is not the object of knowledge, nor is it the object of joy, that miracle is not something to be fully known. Since emptiness is unspeakable, speaking of emptiness is a miracle. Since absence of characteristics is unspeakable, speaking of absence of characteristics is a miracle. Since absence of aspiration is unspeakable, speaking of absence of aspiration is a miracle. Since absence of manifestation is unspeakable, speaking of absence of manifestation is a miracle. Since absence of birth is unspeakable, speaking of absence of birth is a miracle. Since absence of arising is unspeakable, speaking of absence of arising is a miracle. Since absence of things is unspeakable, speaking of absence of things is a miracle. Since absence of characteristics is unspeakable, speaking of absence of characteristics is a miracle. Since absence of cessation is unspeakable, speaking of absence of cessation is a miracle. Since nirvana is unspeakable, speaking of nirvana is a miracle. For example, the giving of the three wheels of purity, without clinging to self, without universally arising in sentient beings, and without arrogance towards enlightenment, that is a miracle. For example, the discipline of the three wheels of purity, without the body moving, without the speech speaking, and without the mind flowing, that is a miracle. For example, the patience of the three wheels of purity, without attachment to craving, with the mind disappearing in an instant, and without discriminating body and mind, that is a miracle. For example,
