Sleep well! Defile the sacred banner of Dharma! Except for you, among the beings of the world, there is no shared merit to enjoy. There is no monk who has the ability to make the king's heart completely believe. Once upon a time, there was a lord of the land in the past, named "Truth Increase," who ruled the earth and was famous everywhere. He was a Dharma king with Dharma, and was offered to by countless beings. This land, which reaches the edge of the ocean, was also ruled by this Dharma king. Towns and cities were filled with rice fields, and everywhere there were edible trees growing fruits and flowers. Everywhere was filled with noble people and those born from trees, who were free from sin. Everywhere was filled with hundreds and thousands of Gandharvas, and there were no thorns on the trees, and no bad grass and trees. It was flat and adorned with the abodes of ascetics, and the rivers and steps were decorated very comfortably. Hundreds and thousands of ascetics followed after him, and everyone was devoted to doing good. The evil paths were completely cut off, and then all beings went to the heavens. That king had sons, and he saw the Buddhas of the past, had the roots of doing good, and possessed many merits obtained through practice, and his name was "Essence of Wisdom." He was offered to by countless beings, saw desire as a fault, and even though he lived in a human home, he liked solitude. The king "Truth Increase" said to him: In this excellent house like a heavenly palace, young maidens are serving you in front of you, enjoy the good desires! Son, I have not done anything that you wanted. Why don't you like these desires? Son, tell me quickly! Be proficient in the merits of the beings of the world, son, let you like the treasure house! Associate with precious women and attendants, let you like and desire the country! Let those ascetics who practice asceticism in the forest give up asceticism and return here to enjoy the pleasure of desire! I have given those desires to you, my only son.

Therefore, enjoy the pleasure of desire! Now all the kingdom is in accordance with you. Live in this house adorned with immeasurable palaces, like the abode of Vaishravana. These are also endowed with excellent form, like goddesses and skilled in art, proficient in the rhythm of music and song, attentive in service and with qualities that captivate the mind. The eyes are like lotus leaves, the lips are beautiful and pleasing, like the color of Bimba fruit. The teeth and complexion are immaculate and beautiful, the forehead and eyebrows are beautiful, and the neck is lovely. The thighs are like elephant trunks, the shoulders are full, and the collarbones are well-formed. The palms of the hands and soles of the feet are copper-colored, the fingers and toes are slender and well-formed. The tongue is thin and beautiful, like copper, and the manner of speaking is appropriate and gentle. The teeth are well-aligned, with no gaps between them, and the canines are pure white, adorned with excellent ornaments. The abdomen is flat and the navel is beautiful, the ribs are wide, and the waist is like a vajra. The buttocks are like elephant tusks, like a well-grown essence. With arrogance, possessing a gait like an elephant. Others look at you with their minds, desiring pleasure and being in the prime of youth. Young man, look with compassion and show affection. You and these childless children, with beautiful complexions and in the prime of youth, fall like flowers on the tips of trees. Abandon arrogance and pursue desire! The one endowed with the essence of wisdom spoke these words to the grieving father and all the retinue: Father, you have spoken much. Those words are widely known and not disparaged. My words are a devotion to all virtues. Please consider this and make a final decision, Your Majesty. Even in dreams, I am displeased and unwilling towards desire, please know this. These words spoken by the lord of the earth are not pleasing to the wise, may the foolish people think correctly. The wise always delight in them. If not blind, what is the reason? Why use the words of the blind to lead astray? How can one who is on level ground desire one who is helpless and carried away by water? What kind of liberation is it to enter a prison with binding words? How can one not err as if on level ground? How can one desire one who is in distress? Land!
