What need is there to mention seeing immoral conduct? Shariputra, thus practicing the discipline of a Bodhisattva, will possess ten dharmas. What are the ten? They are possessing the thought of faith, possessing the thought of diligence, and strong aspiration, having faith in the vast ripening of karma, arising to the noble ones, serving the lama, honoring the teacher, engaging in seeking the Dharma, and for the sake of complete enlightenment, not regarding body and life. Shariputra, thus practicing the discipline of a Bodhisattva, will possess these ten thoughts of Dharma. Abiding in these ten dharmas, one will truly accomplish virtuous dharmas. What are virtuous dharmas? They are just these three good conducts, acting virtuously with body, speech, and mind. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who abides in these three good conducts, what connection does that have with their enlightenment that is praised? One performs virtuous deeds with the body, from which hearing is obtained. One also serves the teacher, for the benefit of all sentient beings. Possessing a loving heart, without narrowness. Starting from the Dharma, one guides beings well. One strictly guards vows, not speaking unpleasant words. This is the sign of possessing aspiration, never speaking harsh words. The mind transforms into a virtuous mind, never desiring sin. With a loving heart and respect, one always contemplates with the mind. Having heard the teachings of the Victorious One, one has respect for this Dharma. Because of having respect for the Dharma, one quickly and completely attains enlightenment. The Bodhisattva who abides in these ten dharmas, in order to seek the vessel of the qualities of a Bodhisattva, serves and honors the teacher, even offering a water jar's worth of offerings. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Bodhisattva generates ten kinds of bodhicitta. What are the ten? Alas, this body is sick, the elements are like snakes coiled around, constantly not harmonizing with each other. Much suffering, many faults. Madness, tumors, eye diseases,

Filled with blood and, sores, wind, bile and phlegm, like disease, like cataracts, like pain, like rivers, like harm, shaking, Destruction, without essence, weak, sticky, short-lived, momentary, destroyed in the tomb. Because there is no essence, the thought arises to take the essence from the body, after generating this first bodhicitta, in order to completely seek bodhicitta, the treasury of the Bodhisattva, one should serve and respect the teacher, even offering a cup of water. The Bhagavan said this, after the Sugata taught this, the teacher also said this: The elements are unruly poisonous snakes, the four depend on each other, any one of them disturbed, will lead to disease and death. Eye diseases and ear diseases, inside the nose and likewise, diseases of the teeth and lips, others also arise from the body. Madness and leprosy, first the eyes, the glory of fire and sores, etc., and many other diseases, all arise from the body. The body is the same as disease, this body is the same as disease, the body is like an abscess. This body is like harm, a short-lived momentary aggregation. Beginning and destroyed in the tomb, impermanent and unstable shaking, completely destroyed and sick, this body is full of pus, sticky and short-lived. With this body full of pus, for the sake of the Buddha's body, one should perform virtuous deeds. In all times and places, the sick person oozes pus, with this body full of pus, one will accomplish the inconceivable Dharmakaya, the body of the Buddha. Where no one else has obtained, one should obtain such a body. Cover when it is hot, protect when it is cold, this body is both pleasant and will be destroyed by the Lord of Death. Those who can endure cold and heat, with the body at all times, doing the deeds of a great man, will obtain the supreme body. For the worldly famous guru, one should serve well, from the body without essence, one will take the essence. Shariputra, after generating this first bodhicitta, Bodhisattva Bodhisatt

In order to fully seek the Dharma categories of the Bodhisattva's treasury, one serves and reveres the teacher. Even offering a jar of water. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Bodhi mind arises in this way: Alas! This body is meaningless, it always needs to be wiped, washed, massaged, and is of the nature of decay, separation, and aging. Shariputra, for example, all the small and large pots made by a potter will eventually break. Similarly, alas! This body is also meaningless, like an unemptied vessel, it will eventually decay. Shariputra, for example, all the leaves, flowers, and fruits of a tree's branches will eventually fall. Shariputra, similarly, alas! This body is meaningless, like a ripe fruit, it is of the nature of falling. Shariputra, for example, all the dewdrops on the tip will not last long when hit by the sun. Shariputra, similarly, alas! This body is meaningless, like a dewdrop, it will not last long. Shariputra, for example, all the foam in the great ocean, rivers, and streams is meaningless because it naturally disappears. Shariputra, similarly, alas! This body is meaningless, like foam, it will naturally weaken. Shariputra, for example, the bubbles of water that appear when it rains, one arising and another ceasing. Shariputra, similarly, alas! This body is meaningless, like a water bubble, naturally weakening. Therefore, thinking to take meaning from this meaningless body, after generating this second aspiration, the Bodhisattva serves and reveres the teacher in order to fully seek the Dharma categories of the Bodhisattva's treasury. Then, in order to extensively show this meaning, the Bhagavan then spoke these verses: Just as a potter makes various vessels on the ground, all of them will eventually decay, and the lives of sentient beings are the same. Just like the tree's...
