Wrath, deceit, jealousy, arrogance, pride, as well as generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom, are all the same. Then, the Blessed One, knowing the thoughts of the youth Moonlight with his holy mind, smiled and emitted rays of light like the color of gold. This light illuminated immeasurable Buddha fields, benefited those worlds, and then circled the Blessed One three times, merging into the Tathagata's crown. At that time, the Bodhisattva Maitreya rose from his seat, bared his right shoulder, knelt on his right knee, bowed his head to the feet of the Blessed One, and respectfully joined his palms, praised with these verses and asked the Blessed One, uttering the sound of a dragon's roar and a lion's roar, as well as the sound of a Kalavinka, emitting the sound of a great Dharma drum: "For what reason do you smile? Surpassing the light of a thousand suns, possessing wonderful sounds, possessing inconceivable merits, for what reason do you emit light? Generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, adorning oneself with these, all are completely fulfilled, for what reason do you emit light? The Tathagata's tone is gentle, always free from harsh words, skillfully healing the diseases of sentient beings, for what reason do you emit light? Greatly compassionate Blessed One, the尊of two feet, eyes constantly knowing emptiness, possessing pure Brahma's voice, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. Ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, from sound, name, and so on, to arising, ceasing, the path, and between wisdom and patience, all are the same. Greatly compassionate Blessed One, the 尊of two feet, eyes exhaust the boundaries of birth and death, completely peaceful and pure samsara, all know to be emptiness. Ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, from form, sound, smell, taste, touch, to between sound, name, and so on, all are the same. Furthermore, the Dharma of dependent origination, free from annihilation and permanence, not self-made nor other-made, is said to be a result arising without cause. Sometimes it is various names."

In various ways, he reveals the root of suffering. Sometimes with various meanings, he praises the light of the Buddha. Sometimes with immeasurable words, he reveals the peaceful Dharma. He shows the nature of the individual, life, and selflessness, as well as the absence of sentient beings. Although the Buddhas of the past are immeasurable, the inconceivable ones, With hundreds of thousands of verses, they reveal such Dharma. The Tathagata reveals the Dharma of qualities, truly and without falsehood, But because there is no speaker or spoken, there is also no Dharma to be spoken. The Bhagavan protects the true Dharma and enables beings to understand, So that gods and yakshas, whatever they hear, they will comprehend. All the Asuras, their faith is purified. Countless people, the nets of doubt are removed. Thoroughly understanding the nature of desire, destroying hatred and ignorance. From craving, pride, and ignorance, to deceit, jealousy, and proliferation, as well as the aggregates of suffering, etc., all are completely abandoned. The meaning of these words, in the end, all are purified. The Tathagata, knowing various names for one Dharma, Therefore, he reveals hundreds of thousands of countless names, inconceivable. Having learned such Dharma well from countless Buddhas, Therefore, he shows endless speech on the nature of one Dharma. The Tathagata, knowing the various aspects of Dharmas, Therefore, he knows well how to distinguish the beginning, middle, and end of names and sentences. Having learned various different languages, Therefore, he knows well how to reveal the supreme meaning. Such pure sound, arising from the assembly of causes and conditions, Not relying solely on the tongue, nor relying on the space between body and mind. The earth shakes in six ways, and the retinues of the ten directions gather, With palms joined, looking at the face of the Bhagavan, they pray for the removal of doubts. The Tathagata, by nature, knows well the unbearable and the limits of birth, Always empty and solitary, and without coming or going. Because there is no dwelling or place, he abides in the true limit. The eyes of the Bhagavan are unobstructed,
