O, Bhadra Rakshita. For example, a person enters the darkness of a dark night, waving his hands and opening his mouth, saying these words: "Help the world! Help the world!" Bhadra Rakshita, what do you think? Who did that person ask for help from? He replied: World Honored One, he asked for help from himself. Why? Because there is nothing to ask for help from there. The Buddha said: Bhadra Rakshita, similarly, a monk, whether he lives in a secluded place, under a tree, in an empty house, or in an unshielded place, thinks that the eye is impermanent. The ear, nose, tongue, body, and consciousness are impermanent. Form is impermanent. Sound, smell, taste, touch, and all dharmas are impermanent. Nirvana must be attained. Thinking like this, and thinking of completely pacifying oneself, this is not the practice of a mendicant. Why? Because clinging to the eye, striving and making effort to negate the eye, that is clinging to the idea of sin. Clinging to the ear, nose, tongue, body, and consciousness, striving and making effort to negate consciousness, that is clinging to the three places. Those who practice these things cling to the three places. For those who have attachment to views, where will there be one-pointedness of mind? Bhadra Rakshita, the Bodhi of the Buddha is profound and difficult to realize. It is difficult for the Sangha to practice. Bhadra Rakshita, to what extent is it called one-pointedness of mind? If one searches completely, one cannot find even one dharma, that is, one cannot find essence in the eye. One cannot find essence in the ear, tongue, body, and consciousness. One does not cling to the fact that all dharmas have no essence. Why? Because the nature of the mind is unborn, this is its nature. All dharmas are without essence, without attachment. Those, whether past, future, or present, are attached to the mind. Not clinging and not striving, therefore not striving.

It is called "Non-manifestation." Why is it called "Non-manifestation"? Because neither the old nor the new are manifested, therefore it is called "Non-manifestation." In it, neither does the past mind move, nor does the future mind move, nor does the presently arising mind move. Because the mind does not focus on anything, it is called "one-pointed mind." This is the counting of the mind. Jyotiska, in the future, monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen will all claim to be, and will cling to the idea that this and that thing will perish. They will think that the five aggregates exist. The Tathagata has said that the five aggregates are like a dream, and at that time they will say: There is the name "dream," so the dream exists. The dream exists, and they will show that the dream is real. If the dream did not exist, we would not have any recognition of the dream. Therefore, consciousness exists, so we have recognition of the dream. Similarly, those five aggregates that are grasped as being like a dream also exist. If those aggregates did not exist, it would not be said, "The five aggregates are grasped, like a dream." They will say this. Those foolish people will develop a true understanding of dreams, and after hearing such sutras, they will abandon them. Among them, some nuns will appear, and in order to beg, they will proclaim in many houses that they are not Arhats, and they will say that the basis of nuns is two-finger wisdom, and they will say that they have attained it and will accept it. And some laymen and laywomen will only hear one verse or half a verse, and they will proclaim that they have attained it. Jyotiska, at that time, some monks who are twenty or thirty years old, who are diligently practicing in solitary places, will associate with those who have taken the one-day lay vows for the sake of the Buddha's teachings. Jyotiska, they will proclaim emptiness. They will say: Emptiness, emptiness.

Therefore, it is fully understood through telling. They will say words like "Fully understood." Regarding this, any bhikshu who hears such Dharma will tell each other about these things. Having heard these, they will be afraid, whether they are householders or renunciates. They will say things like, "Do not associate with householders, do not associate, or you will be exhausted. This is not the teaching of the teacher." Why is that? Because understanding in this way, and how to fully understand, they will gather together, and they will abandon those who speak of very profound content, because those householders and renunciates will despise them. Why is that? Kashyapa (འོད་སྲུང་།) If the essence of pure conduct is taught, then few will understand. At that time, even those few will be completely liberated from suffering, let alone those very few and extremely rare people who receive teachings. Kashyapa (འོད་སྲུང་།), therefore, at that time, a bhikshu who can truly understand anything and know without contradiction, even in a sangha of a thousand bhikshus, will be difficult to find. At that time, others who appear will not learn from those people, and a bhikshu who can truly understand anything and practice without contradiction, even in a sangha of two bhikshus, will be difficult to find. Kashyapa (འོད་སྲུང་།), therefore, at that time, householders and renunciates will despise this doctrine. Kashyapa (འོད་སྲུང་།), at that time, at that time, any bhikshu who strives diligently to abandon unwholesome dharmas and generate wholesome dharmas, and who does not sleep in the first and last parts of the night but strives to practice yoga, then at that time he will face life-threatening danger, will be slandered, and will be completely abandoned. Kashyapa (འོད་སྲུང་།), therefore, at that time, such Dharma will be completely destroyed, and the bhikshus will be completely destroyed. At that time, those wise people who have faith in the profound and faith in the undefiled should maintain reverence at that time. They should maintain reverence, gather together, and dwell in solitary places. Then, the Blessed One spoke verses at that time:
