Even with just a few instances of generating bodhicitta like the ocean, one would not recall generating a bodhicitta accompanied by anger, or a mind that clings to self, or a mind that completely protects and completely grasps self, or a mind that differentiates between self and others, or a mind that would stray from the path of enlightenment, or a mind that is completely weary of abiding in samsara, or a timid mind, or a mind whose head is bewildered by obscurations. On the contrary, in order to accumulate the collections of omniscience itself, one generates a bodhicitta that possesses the essence of being invincible and difficult to surpass by other wisdoms. Son of good family, for example, my previous perfect endeavors, and the endeavors of completely purifying the Buddha-fields, and by that, having thoroughly attained the mind of great compassion, and the endeavors of completely protecting sentient beings, and causing them to completely ripen, and having completely purified them, and the endeavors of worshiping and honoring the Buddhas, and the endeavors of serving the guru in order to completely seek the sacred Dharma, and the endeavors of completely giving up the body in order to completely hold the sacred Dharma, and the endeavors of completely giving up one's own life in order to completely protect the sacred Dharma—if those were to be taught, then even all the ocean of eons would be exhausted. Son of good family, from even such an ocean of Dharma, even a few words and letters, I have strived to completely protect all sentient beings, and strived to surely know the continuum of my own mind, and strived to cause others to manifestly hear the Dharma, and strived to thoroughly express all worldly wisdom appearances, and strived to thoroughly express all transcendental wisdom, and strived to completely bring about the samsaric happiness of all sentient beings, and strived to perfectly praise the qualities of all the Tathagatas. Therefore, there is nothing that was not obtained by giving up the kingdom of a wheel-turning monarch, or that was not obtained by giving up all possessions. Thus, if my own previous perfect endeavors were to be taught, even an ocean of eons of unspeakable and unspeakable Buddha-fields of extremely fine dust

will be exhausted. Son of good family, thus, I have obtained the Dharma body, completely pure, undifferentiated in the three times, through the power of such a gathering, the power of accumulating the cause of virtuous roots, the power of vast faith, the power of diligently engaging in merits, the power of thoroughly understanding all phenomena as they are, the power of the eye of wisdom, the power of the blessings of the Thus-Gone One, the power of great aspirations, the power of great compassion, the power of perfectly tamed direct perception, and the power of being completely embraced by virtuous friends. The unsurpassed form body, manifestly superior to all worlds, following all the thoughts of all beings, thoroughly engaging in all Buddha-fields, thoroughly abiding in all places, all transformations in all ways, showing all beings, pleasing and completely tamed. Son of good family, look at this perfect body that I have obtained, accomplished by endless oceans of kalpas, difficult to arise and difficult to see through many hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas. Son of good family, I do not even come to the ears of sentient beings who have not generated virtuous roots, what need is there to say about seeing? Son of good family, any sentient being who merely hears my name will not turn back from unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Merely seeing, merely touching, merely thinking, merely following, merely seeing in a dream, merely hearing the name in a dream, will also not turn back from unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Some sentient beings, if they remember me for one day and night, will be matured. Some for seven days, some for half a month, some for one month, some for one year, some for one hundred years, some for one kalpa, some from one hundred kalpas, some even for as many kalpas as the inexpressible and unspeakable extremely fine dust particles of a Buddha-field, if they remember me, they will
