In one of those worlds, there was a city called "Glorious Cloud," radiating the light of Dharma, endowed with all precious fragrances. Clouds were taken from the four continents of the world, as many as the finest dust particles. Its boundaries were adorned with lotuses, proclaimed by the voices of all the Tathagatas' past aspirations. The king of precious jewels, born from the ocean of all sentient beings' karma, was formed from the ocean. It was in the shape of a great lotus. Pure and free from all defilements. The surroundings of flowers were encircled by as many fine dust particles as Mount Sumeru. The precious fragrance, with the adornment of as many fine dust particles as Mount Sumeru, possessed the eminence of Mount Sumeru. It possessed the adornment of as many fine dust particles of the great Mount Sumeru of the four great continents. In each of the four continents, countless billions of towns appeared, which were unspeakable and even more unspeakable. Son of the lineage, the eon of that world was called "Spotless Light." In that eon, as many Tathagatas as the finest dust particles of Mount Sumeru appeared. In the four continents of the city called "Glorious Cloud" in the world called "Radiating the Light of Dharma," something called "Middle Victory Banner Variety" appeared. In its center, there was the king's residence, called "Precious Flower All Manifestation." Not far from that king's residence, there was Essence Bodhi.

Alas! The teachings have also become empty. The way the Dharma teachings are extremely manifested has become ten hundredfold. When the intermediate kalpa of turbidity is near, sentient beings are obscured by the obscurations of karma and afflictions, and are engaged in quarrels, disputes, and conflicts. Monks do not seek the merits of the Buddha's teachings, but indulge in worldly pleasures; they are engaged in the talk of kings and thieves, are fond of stories of women, lands, and oceans, and participate in worldly, far-reaching words. In order to cause them to be completely disgusted, alas! The great lamp of Dharma, which has been accomplished for many kalpas, is about to be extinguished! Thus, he cried out with a Dharma-filled lament, and spoke words that would cause complete disgust. Then, in the expanse of the sky above, he visibly rose to the height of seven talas, spreading clouds of light radiating immeasurable colors, and displaying a great net-like ornament of radiant light, endowed with various colors. With light of many colors, he pacified the suffering of worldly afflictions, and also established limitless sentient beings in Bodhi. The teachings of the Tathagata were also made clear again, and remained for sixty thousand years. At that time, there appeared a Chakravartin king, whose face was as spotless as the sun. His daughter, a Bhikshuni named "Light Emanated from the Dharma Wheel," had a retinue of hundreds of thousands of Bhikshunis. She heard the sound of utter weariness and saw the great miracle, and together with her retinue, generated the mind of Bodhi. She made those hundreds of thousands of Bhikshunis irreversible from the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment, and also attained the Samadhi called "Truly Engaging in the Manifestation of the Tathagata." She also attained the Dharani called "Light Emanated from the Dharma Wheel of All the Tathagatas." She also attained the Prajnaparamita called "Entering into All Aspects of the Ocean of Dharma." The Bhikshuni Light Emanated from the Dharma Wheel also

The samadhi called "Lamp of Light Arising from the Doctrine," and the liberation of the Bodhisattva, with its pleasing sound, and entering into profound transformations, this also is obtained in a very subtle and gentle manner. Having obtained this, all the transformations of the Tathagata, the King of Light of the Voice of all the Dharma Oceans, all of those also become manifest. Son of good family, what do you think? At that time, the wheel-turning king named "Immaculate Face Like the Sun" went forth into the doctrine of the Tathagata, the King of Light of the Voice of all the Dharma Oceans, and turned the wheel of Dharma accordingly. And even after passing into complete nirvana, at the time and hour when the doctrine was declining, he would fully uphold the doctrine and cause the great lamp of Dharma to blaze. Do you think that he was someone else? Son of good family, you should not regard it that way. The Bodhisattva Samantabhadra was at that time the wheel-turning king named "Immaculate Face Like the Sun." Son of good family, what do you think? At that time, the daughter of the wheel-turning king "Immaculate Face Like the Sun," the bhikshuni named "Light Emanated by the Wheel of Dharma," who came with a retinue of hundreds of thousands of bhikshunis, do you think that she was someone else? You should not regard it that way. She was at that time the bhikshuni named "Light Emanated by the Wheel of Dharma." Thus, she also fully upheld the doctrine of the Tathagata, the King of Light of the Voice of all the Dharma Oceans. Those hundreds of thousands of bhikshunis were also made irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and were well established in the samadhi of truly approaching the manifestation of the Tathagata. They were also well established in the dharani of the Light Emanated by the Wheel of Dharma of all the Tathagatas, and in the Prajnaparamita of entering into all the ways of the Dharma Ocean. Under that Tathagata, I also approached the Tathagata, the Immaculate Mountain of Dharma and Wisdom.
