He does not abide in the great self, he does not abide in the great self of food, he does not abide in the great self of form, he does not abide in the great self of enjoyment. Thus, he does not completely fall away from discipline, and thus there is no pervasive cycle, no seeking everywhere, no complete suffering, no obstruction, no harm, no strife. There should be no slander. One should think thus: I should completely uphold the dharmas praised by the Buddhas. O sons of the king! Near such a bodhisattva who possesses discipline, if one day a billion trillion demons come, and each demon has a billion trillion daughters of the gods, skilled in all the rituals of desire, unimpeded in all the acts of comfortable service, adorned with bodily ornaments, a billion trillion approaching one by one, the bodhisattva, knowing that desire is an obstacle to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, does not even generate a single desire-filled thought for the sake of manifesting the teacher, for the bodhisattva is inseparable from attending to all-knowingness. He does not cause suffering to any sentient being for the sake of desire, even if a small life force is cut off, he does not generate displeasure in others. O sons of the king! Bodhisattvas, having seen the Tathagata, do not indulge in desire even for a moment of thought, let alone two joining together, what need is there to say, this is not the place. The bodhisattva generates such a thought: These sentient beings have long been inclined in this way, flowing in this way, falling in this way, believing in this way, having such a field of activity, determined in this way, drowning in this way, suppressed in this way, attached in this way, entering in this way. How shall I place these demons and demonesses, and all sentient beings, in the unsurpassed, completely pure discipline, and having made them non-retreating from all-knowingness, into unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment

Having fully awakened, with the remaining aggregates, One should thus completely pass into the realm of nirvana without remainder. Why is that? It is because, like this, having trained after all the Buddhas, completely abandoning all that should not be done, and completely abandoning all that the body cannot know, and also that the mind cannot know, that is our task. O sons of the Victorious Ones, we should teach the Dharma in order to thoroughly abandon the perversions of all sentient beings with the wisdom that has followed all the Buddhas' teachings. Perversion is not other than sentient beings, nor are sentient beings separate from perversions. Sentient beings are not assembled in perversion, nor are perversions assembled in sentient beings. Perversions are not sentient beings, nor are sentient beings perversions. Perversions are not inside, nor are perversions outside. Sentient beings are not inside, nor are sentient beings outside, because all those phenomena are of the nature of accumulation, falsehood, and deception, like illusion deceiving children, small and evil, without essence, like a dream, like an optical illusion. In order to understand these, one must contemplate the formations. For the sake of contemplating the formations, there is nirvana, which enables one to fully awaken to the enlightenment of the Buddha. Those who cross over liberate, those who are freed liberate, those who are pacified pacify, those who exhale exhale, those who wash wash, those who are pure purify, those who attain nirvana cause nirvana, those who are blissful cause bliss. We should not dwell in disharmony with the Thus-Gone One, we should abandon all worldly conduct. We should possess all the Buddhas' teachings. We should abide in the equality of the unsurpassed Dharma. We should rightly lead all sentient beings with equanimity. We should possess complete knowledge of all realms.

English

We should have completely pure and undefiled habits. We should possess all realizations. We should be skilled in all arising phenomena. We should have extreme faith in that unsurpassed wisdom, which is universally boundless, inexpressible, non-abiding, unmoving, without beginning or end, inexhaustible, formless, and indescribable. Having said this, O sons of the Victorious Ones! This is the second conduct of a Bodhisattva, called Generating Bliss. O sons of the Victorious Ones! Then, what is the third Bodhisattva conduct of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, called Without Disagreement? O sons of the Victorious Ones! Here, the Bodhisattva diligently applies himself to the nature of reality, possessing patience and having the nature of speaking truthfully. That is to say, it does not harm oneself, it does not harm others, it does not harm both. It does not gather oneself, it does not gather others, it does not gather both. It does not completely grasp oneself, it does not completely grasp others, it does not completely grasp both. It is not for the sake of fame that is truly praised. The Bodhisattva generates such a mind: We should teach the Dharma in order to make sentient beings abandon all non-virtue. In order to abandon desire, abandon hatred, abandon ignorance, abandon pride, abandon concealment, abandon jealousy, abandon miserliness, abandon deceit and trickery, and in order to abide in patience and steadfastness, we should teach the Dharma to all sentient beings. Having said this, O sons of the Victorious Ones! The Bodhisattva is thus endowed with patience and steadfastness. Therefore, if hundreds of thousands of millions of countless beings come, and each of those beings also emanates hundreds of thousands of millions of countless mouths, and comes before him, and from each mouth also speaks hundreds of thousands of millions of countless unpleasant words, these words are unpleasant, undesirable, ugly, displeasing, improper, ignoble, expressed in ignoble language, approached in an ignoble way, and are entirely to be abandoned.
