Fourth, that which is called "Without Ignorance" is the fifth conduct of a Bodhisattva; that which is called "Good View" is the sixth conduct of a Bodhisattva; that which is called "Without Abiding" is the seventh conduct of a Bodhisattva; that which is called "Difficult to Conquer" is the eighth conduct of a Bodhisattva; that which is called "Good Dharma" is the ninth conduct of a Bodhisattva; that which is called "Possessing Truth" is the tenth conduct of a Bodhisattva. O sons of the Conquerors! These ten are the conduct of the Bodhisattvas, spoken, being spoken, and will be spoken by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the past, the future, and the present. O sons of the Conquerors! What is the first conduct of a Bodhisattva, called "Making Joy"? O sons of the Conquerors! Here, a Bodhisattva, a great being, should learn and remember the previous conduct of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, without discouragement, with increasing faith, fully accepting, correctly showing, and making it vast. In order to make suffering beings happy, for all beings, completely giving away all possessions, with a mind of no regret, without any fear of the ripening result, without desiring fame, without desiring offerings, without desiring profit, protecting others, benefiting others, with a mind of benefiting all beings, being the lord of generosity, he gives. O sons of the Conquerors! This is the first conduct of a Bodhisattva. A Bodhisattva who abides in that conduct is pleasing to many people. Wherever those poor beings are, the Bodhisattva is born there by the power of aspiration, and having been born, he possesses inexhaustible enjoyment and is extremely wealthy. If at one time, countless begging creatures, hundreds of thousands, millions, billions, and incalculable numbers come, saying, 'Please know! We are all dying of hunger. If we eat your flesh, we will live.'

Even if these words are spoken, the Bodhisattva possesses such a perfect generosity. Even if countless billions of beings come to beg, the Bodhisattva will not waver in the slightest from their aspiration. Instead, they will generate great compassion for all those beings. Even if more come, they will be even more delighted and joyful, thinking, "Without my asking, I have met such excellent spiritual friends, who are the true strength of the Buddhadharma, the source of suffering, and the object of generosity. I have truly obtained great benefit. In any case, I must do my best not to disappoint any being." May all the merit I have done, am doing, and will do, cause all these beings to be satisfied, and may I be reborn into a body as large as they will be when they die. Until these beings are satiated and satisfied, may my body be cut and reborn, never exhausted. May this merit also perfectly accomplish the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and may I attain Nirvana in the realm of complete Nirvana without remainder. Likewise, may all beings in all future worlds possess such qualities. May they all eat my flesh, perfectly accomplish the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and through the wisdom equal to all the Buddhadharma, perform the deeds of the Buddhas, and attain Nirvana in the realm of complete Nirvana without remainder. Until I have fulfilled the wishes of all beings, may I not cling to self, not cling to beings, not cling to existence, not cling to life, not cling to ordinary people, not cling to persons, not cling to the powerful, not cling to the lord of power, not cling to the doer, not cling to the feeler, but rather draw near to the Dharmadhatu and the boundless realm of beings.

And holding the nature of Dharma, and holding the nature of emptiness, and holding the nature of detachment from desire, and holding the nature of signlessness, and holding the nature of non-thing, and holding the nature of no place, and holding the nature of no basis, and holding the nature of non-manifestation, may you not become manifestly enlightened apart from these. For I do not truly see myself, nor do I truly see my body, nor do I truly see what is called "the receiver," nor do I truly see the receiving, nor do I truly see the place of giving. For I do not truly see karma, nor do I truly see ripening, nor do I truly see the fruit, nor do I truly see the great fruit, nor do I truly see the small fruit. He should think that the bodies of all sentient beings of the past have perished. He should think that the bodies of all sentient beings of the future and present will perish. He thinks thus: Alas, these sentient beings have ceased countless times with their own bodies, and even though they cease and cease again, it is very strange that they do not take essence from the body without essence! Since this is so, in order that I may serve all sentient beings with happiness, I should follow the Tathagata. Also, all-knowing wisdom is manifestly enlightened, for the sake of purifying all dharmas. Holding the indestructible nature of Dharma, having pacified it in a manner that accords with the equality of the three times, I shall teach the Dharma to sentient beings. He thinks thus: O sons of the Victorious Ones, this is the first conduct of a Bodhisattva, called "making joyful." O sons of the Victorious Ones, what is the second conduct of Bodhisattvas, called "generating happiness"? O sons of the Victorious Ones, here, a Bodhisattva is endowed with morality, and he is non-abiding. He shows non-abiding in form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. He is non-abiding in the nature of a great lineage, non-abiding in the
