There are no thorns and no trees, it is flat and smooth, and a verdant green prevails. There, three diseases arise: desire, attachment, and old age. Women who are five hundred years old take both old and young men as husbands. Forever, both are happy, and there is no quarreling. Fruits and crops are abundant, with vines and groves of trees. The grass grows to be four fingers high, like very soft tree cotton. It is neither too cold nor too hot, the rain falls evenly, the wind is very gentle, and the seasons are in perfect balance. The rivers are no less than the Tala River, and the soil there contains small stones, about the size of black beans and lentils, filled with pearl-like gems. The ornaments are like gardens, delightful and pleasing, filled with towns and villages. There and there are close, the light is like a bamboo grove. Only the distance a crow can fly. Auspicious and prosperous, possessing magical powers, there is no harm to customs, always playing and happy, completely satisfied with bliss, surrounded by auspicious stars, joyful, content, and exceedingly happy. They eat and drink much, with meat and wine as abundant as water, like the willow palace of the gods. Mansions are like the palaces of kings, with pleasant scenery and inharmonious sounds. Jambudvipa also becomes like that. At that time, the Bodhisattva Maitreya, after perfecting the Paramita of Giving for countless sixteen kalpas and more than one hundred million kalpas, and completing the thirty Paramitas, while liberating all beings, made the remaining body a great offering, and perfected the Paramitas. Through the power of his own merit, he broke through the earth and came to the surface, and in four jeweled mansions, like his own deity, he lived with goddesses like the Moon-faced Goddess, and many women like daughters of gods. For a thousand years, he enjoyed himself like a god. On that day, seeing an image of renunciation, like a lion king disliking a golden cage, he became extremely disgusted with all the complete wealth and jeweled mansions, and the desire for renunciation arose. All the gods of the ten thousand world realms took heavenly flowers and so on in their hands, and gathered in this wheel of the world, and great beings such as the Conch King held incense, garlands, and incense and so on, and sat around the mansion. The gods of the sky held heavenly flowers in their hands and uttered a single sound of "Good!" From the lower realms up to Akanishta, everything made the same sound and remained. At that time, the jeweled mansion revolved like a potter's wheel and traveled in the sky. Like the full moon surrounded by a garland of stars. The great consort of the Bodhisattva and others traveled in the sky. Those who walked with the great being, with the mind of walking, saw their respective skies, and the Great Brahma held a white umbrella equal to the measure of three yojanas. Indra, the king of the gods, held conches and so on and blew them. Thus, surrounded by the assembly of gods and humans endowed with glory and good fortune, the dragon tree of the mansion went to the foot of the Bodhi tree. Its measurements are: one hundred and twenty cubits to the branches, the height of the branches is equal to that, entwined and hanging down from above, beautiful like a peacock's umbrella.
