There is no fault. If surrounded by afflictions, The path of peace exists, If one does not enter that path, It is not the fault of the path of peace. If a person is afflicted by disease, And there is a way to heal, If the disease is not cured, It is not the fault of the doctor. Likewise, when afflicted And suffering from the disease of afflictions, If one does not seek a teacher, It is not the fault of the teacher. Furthermore, consider: Just as a man adorned with ornaments, if he ties something impure around his neck, he discards it and departs happily, so too, I should abandon this impure body and enter the city of Nirvana without attachment. Furthermore, just as men and women, after excreting in a place for excrement, do not put the excrement in a container and carry it away, but discard it disgustedly without attachment and leave, so too, I should discard this impure body and so forth without attachment and enter the city of Nirvana, which is free from death. Furthermore, just as sailors abandon leaky boats without attachment and leave, so too, I should abandon this body that flows from the nine wounds and enter the city of Nirvana without attachment. Furthermore, just as a person takes various jewels and travels with robbers, and on the road, fearing the loss of his own jewels, discards them and enters the good path, so too, I am like a robber with many impure bodies, and if I cling to this, I fear that I will lose the jewel of virtuous Dharma on the noble path. Therefore, I should abandon this body, which is like a robber, and enter the city of Nirvana. Therefore, it is said: Just as a person with a foul odor Tied around the neck feels nauseous, If one abandons them and departs, One will not be nauseous and will depart happily. Likewise, the foul-smelling body, Filled with various things, To abandon it and depart, Is meaningless and without attachment. Just as in a place for excrement, Men and women, after excreting,

To abandon and leave is meaningless and without attachment. Likewise, this body of mine, filled with various impurities, I too shall depart after abandoning it, just like a toilet. If a boat is breached, water will enter it, and the boatman will abandon it, for it is meaningless and without attachment. Likewise, this body of mine, with its nine unstable orifices, when abandoning and leaving, it is like a boatman abandoning a boat. If thieves rob together, carrying away wealth, and seeing the fear of carrying wealth, it is like abandoning the place of fear and leaving. Likewise, this body is like a great thief, and here, abandoning and leaving, practicing virtue is fearless. Similarly, a wise and virtuous person, using various analogies, contemplates the meaning of benefit, and in his own home, as previously stated, possessing countless heaps of wealth, gives great charity to the miserly and others, abandoning the desire for wealth and the desire for afflictions, he goes outside the Fearless City, and alone relies on the place called the Snowy Mountain Dharma Mountain, there he dwells in a leaf hut, and without preventing or abandoning the five faults, he maintains his mind in equanimity, as spoken by the first and the eight-fold accomplished clairvoyance, gaining strength and dwelling there, abandoning the worn clothes with nine faults, and wearing the bark clothes with twelve virtues, he completely renounces to the renunciation of a righteous person, and having completely renounced in that way, he abandons the leaf hut with eight faults, and dwells near the tree with ten virtues. Having abandoned all possessions, he eats the best fruits of the tree and dwells. He practices asceticism by walking in the dwelling place. Within seven days, he enters the eight samadhis and attains the five clairvoyances. Likewise, through his pursuit, he attains the power of clairvoyance. Therefore it is said, just as I have thought, various hundreds of millions of wealth, I give to those with protectors and those without protectors, and I draw near to the Snowy Mountain.
