Emptiness Nirvana does not change. The virtues of all sentient beings tend to be supreme, Buddha's wisdom is supremely wonderful and supremely touching, Whoever wishes to give the supreme and excellent Dharma as a gift, Should rely on this supreme place of benefactors. If the guide fully speaks of these disciplines, Then among all disciplines, this is the most supreme and unsurpassed. Any wise person who wishes to cross to the other shore of all disciplines, Should study the Buddha's discipline of wisdom, the perfection of wisdom. This is the supreme Dharma treasure and the excellent Dharma store, It is the treasure of happiness and joy for beings of the Buddha lineage. The protectors of the past and future ten directions of the world, Although they are born from this, the Dharma realm is inexhaustible. Like the many trees, fruits, flowers, and forests, All of them truly arise and emerge from the earth. However, the earth neither increases nor decreases, It never decays, has no conceptualization, and no weariness. Buddha's sons, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, gods, and, The many Dharma of happiness and joy for all beings, All of them arise from the supreme perfection of wisdom. Wisdom also neither increases nor decreases. The many inferior, intermediate, and supreme sentient beings, All of them arise from ignorance, as spoken by the Sugata. When causes and conditions gather, the wheel of suffering arises, The wheel of ignorance neither increases nor decreases. The many wisdom gates, methods, and roots, All of them arise from the supreme perfection of wisdom. When causes and conditions gather, the wheel of karma arises, The perfection of wisdom neither increases nor decreases. Any Bodhisattva who, regarding dependent origination, Knows this wisdom as unborn and unceasing, Like the sun without clouds, radiating light and dispelling darkness, Having destroyed the darkness of ignorance, one will attain self-arisen. Those endowed with great power also abide in the four Dhyanas, But they are not relying on them, and there is no abiding. However, these four Dhyanas with their limbs, Become the basis for attaining supreme Bodhi. Having attained supreme wisdom and abiding in these Dhyanas, One also experiences the four excellent formless absorptions. These Dhyanas benefit supreme Bodhi, The Bodhisattva does not study for the sake of exhausting defilements.

This is the rare and wonderful of virtues and so on, abiding in meditative absorption without characteristics. If those abiding therein, should their bodies perish, they are also born in the desire realm as they wish. For example, a person from Jambudvipa, who had never before gone to the heavenly realm, the excellent city of the gods, goes there later. Having seen those realms that are completely held, if they return here, they do not become attached, just like that. Likewise, a Bodhisattva who possesses supreme virtues, a yogi who diligently abides in meditative absorption, and again abides in the desire realm without attachment, does not abide in the Dharma of children, like a lotus in water. The great being only acts to ripen all sentient beings, purify the fields, and perfect the pāramitās. Saying that the virtues of Bodhi and the pāramitās will decline, they do not seek to be born in the formless realm. For example, if a person finds a treasure of jewels, but does not generate a desire for them, they also take all of them at another time, and having taken them, go home, and do not become attached, just like that. Likewise, a Bodhisattva, a wise one, having obtained joy and the four peaceful states of meditative absorption that bestows bliss, abandons the meditative absorption that possesses bliss, and with a heart full of compassion for beings, again enters the desire realm. If a Bodhisattva abides in samādhi and meditation, and generates a desire for the vehicle of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, then they are not in equipoise, but are agitated and distracted, and like a broken boat, they will lose all the qualities of the Buddha. Furthermore, even if they are manifestly diligent in forms, sounds, and likewise smells, tastes, tactile sensations, and the five objects of desire, if the Bodhisattva is pleased to be free from the vehicle of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, know that the hero is always in equipoise. For the sake of other sentient beings, the pure hero manifestly diligently practices the pāramitās. For example, a maidservant with a water pot is involuntarily under the control of her master, likewise, heroes go under the control of all sentient beings. Even if they are scolded or constantly beaten, the maidservant does not speak back to her master, thinking that this will kill me, with a very frightened mind, she is overwhelmed with fear and subdued.

Likewise, one who enters the supreme Bodhi for the sake of enlightenment, should abide as a servant for the benefit of all beings. From this, one attains enlightenment and perfects qualities. Just as fire arises from grass and wood, it burns itself. Abandoning one's own happiness, with a mind without expectations, day and night diligently strive to accomplish the needs of other sentient beings. Like a mother serving her only child, abide with a firm mind, without weariness. If a Bodhisattva desires to wander in samsara for a long time, and is a yogi who diligently purifies the fields for the benefit of sentient beings, and does not generate even a speck of weariness, then that one possesses the perfection of diligence, without laziness. An unskilled Bodhisattva counts hundreds of thousands of eons. If one clings to the idea of a long time and practices suffering to attain enlightenment, then while practicing the true Dharma, one will also endure suffering for a long time. That one has diminished the perfection of diligence and is lazy. From the very beginning of generating the supreme Bodhicitta, until one attains unsurpassed enlightenment, if one thinks about it in the mind for just one day and night, the wise should know that one has begun diligence with clarity. If someone says that one will attain supreme enlightenment after crushing Mount Meru, if one also generates even a slight thought of weariness in the mind, then that Bodhisattva becomes lazy. If one thinks, "This is just a test, what is so difficult?" and generates the thought of turning Mount Meru into ashes in an instant, this is the diligence of a skillful Bodhisattva, and one will soon attain the supreme enlightenment of a guide. If one thinks of accomplishing the benefit of others after fully maturing all beings, if one diligently acts with body, speech, and mind, because one still clings to the self, one becomes lazy, and one is as far from omniscient wisdom as heaven and earth. When there is no clinging to body, mind, and sentient beings, reversing clinging, and practicing the non-dual Dharma, this is the peaceful enlightenment, for those who desire the supreme enlightenment that does not regress, the benefactor said that this is the perfection of diligence. If one hears harsh words or abusive language from others, the wise Bodhisattva should think, "I am truly happy." Who speaks, who hears, who says what, for what reason, one who possesses the supreme perfection of patience is wise. Bodhicitta.
