Also, pay homage to the great Bodhisattva Dharma Protector. My Buddha's teachings depend on him, like this. Because of wanting the Dharma. Indra in the form of a Brahmin boy said: Good son, I do not want you. But I want to perform a sacrifice, where human heart, blood, bones, and legs are needed. The good son did not hesitate and said to him that he would give alms. Taking a sharp weapon, he pierced my hand and let out blood. He peeled off the flesh of his thigh, and in order to break the bones, he went to the wall and sat on one side. Thinking of giving alms of bones and legs. The good son was letting out blood, and I was living upstairs and saw it. I thought to myself: Why is this person causing himself such pain? I went to him and said: Good son, what are you going to do by letting out the blood of your body like this? He said to me: Daughter, (I) am going to give alms of blood, heart, bones, and legs to this Brahmin boy. Why? Because I am poor and have no other wealth. I said: What are you going to do with wealth? He said to me: Like this, in order to want the Dharma, one should make offerings to the Prajnaparamita. Also, pay homage to the noble Bodhisattva, the great Bodhisattva Dharma Protector. I said to him: Good son, what kind of merit or difference in merit will he bring to you? He said to me: He will speak of the Buddha's inconceivable merits, and he will fully reveal the immeasurable Dharma of the Buddha. Such Buddha's teachings will arise from him. After hearing those inconceivable merits of the Buddha, I also felt joy and great delight, thinking: This good son, because he greatly desires the Dharma, is willing to not even care for his own body like this. This is difficult to do, it is truly rare.

To! If this son of good family is willing to completely give himself up for the sake of seeking the Dharma, why shouldn't we offer to the Dharma with the wealth we have, which is abundant and vast? Why shouldn't we make aspirations in such places? Thinking this way, I said these words to that son of good family: Son of good family, do not do such a life-threatening thing to yourself. For what reason do you want to honor, respect, and regard as a guru the noble Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma Victory? I will take those immeasurable riches from my parents, and I will also go with you to where the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma Victory is. I will also make offerings to that son of good family. Whatever you have said, such as, 'I will perfectly accomplish that unsurpassed Buddha Dharma,' if you say so, please ask your parents to grant me that great mass of wealth. I will also make offerings to the noble Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma Victory together with that son of good family. The Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita, Chapter Twenty-Four. Then, the parents of that daughter said these words to their daughter: Daughter of good family, the difficult practices you have described, those Dharmas are inconceivable, and they must be extraordinary, surpassing all the world, and they bring happiness to all sentient beings. It is truly amazing! Daughter of good family, if someone strives for those difficult practices, we will allow you. Daughter, we will also go with you to see, pay homage to, serve, and make offerings to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma Victory. Please give us a chance to go! Then, that merchant's daughter, in order to make offerings and show respect to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma Victory, prepared herself and informed her parents, saying: Parents, please do as you have said, and I will not hinder any aspect of virtue. Having said this, that merchant's daughter, the Bodhisattva

They prepared to set out in order to make offerings and pay homage to the great Bodhisattva Dharma Protector. Then, that merchant's daughter also adorned five hundred carriages with ornaments, and those five hundred daughters were also adorned with ornaments. After being adorned, they carried various different colored and kinds of flowers, as well as clothes of various colors, carrying incense, di, garlands, unguents, powders, Dharma robes, umbrellas, victory banners, bells, and the seven precious things. They also carried various different kinds of jewels, as well as flowers that arose naturally from various different kinds of jewels. Parents also carried many foods, drinks, and delicacies, and constantly rode together in the same carriage with the Bodhisattva, the great Bodhisattva. Those five hundred daughters entered the five hundred carriages, surrounded him, and led the way in front, together with their parents and many attendants, heading towards the east, gradually advancing. After a long time, the Bodhisattva, the great Bodhisattva, saw a city named Fragrant Abode, made of seven jewels, radiant and delightful to behold. It was surrounded by seven tiers of steps arising naturally from the seven jewels, had seven dismounting places, seven moats, and was surrounded by seven rows of Tala trees. The water area was twelve yojanas wide, and the land area was twelve yojanas wide, prosperous and flourishing, peaceful and with good harvests, inhabited by many people and beings. The rows of shops in the middle were arranged like various patterns were painted, very beautiful, neat and uniform. Five hundred places were well repaired, and people, animal-drawn vehicles, and pedestrians there did not feel crowded or cramped. In the central crossroads of that city, they saw the Bodhisattva, the great Bodhisattva Dharma Protector, sitting on the Dharma seat, surrounded by hundreds, thousands, and hundreds of thousands of attendants, listening to the Dharma in front. As soon as they saw him, they obtained such joy, just like a monk focusing on the first dhyana and entering into samadhi. After seeing him, she thought: I am sitting in the carriage, the Bodhisattva
