此般般若波罗蜜多与善巧方便相应且圆满，如是愿我等亦般若波罗蜜多与善巧方便相应且得圆满。亦对法护（chos 'phags）作恭敬。菩萨常啼与商主之女等五百女，彼等对般若波罗蜜多作供养，亦对菩萨摩诃萨法护作恭敬。菩萨摩诃萨法护之足，以头顶礼拜，合掌，于一旁而坐。于一旁坐定后，菩萨摩诃萨常啼对菩萨摩诃萨法护如是说道：善男子，我于此处寻觅般若波罗蜜多，前往寂静兰若时，善男子，有声音说道：往东方去，将可听闻般若波罗蜜多。我听闻彼声音所真实开示后，前往东方之处，心想：我当往彼声音之处多久呢？于谁之处听闻般若波罗蜜多且能寻获？对于真实前往之处，我未曾询问声音。如是思惟，我心不悦且极度痛苦。于彼处，七日七夜过去，如是极度痛苦，故未曾思及饮食，于他处唯独思及般若波罗蜜多，我当往彼多久呢？般若波罗蜜多当从谁听闻而能寻获？如是思惟未曾询问彼声音。之后，于我面前出现如来之身，彼如是说：善男子，你从此处次第前往五百由旬，于名为香积（spos ldan）之城中，将可见到菩萨摩诃萨法护宣说讲授般若波罗蜜多。如是说已，我生起广大之欢喜与极度欢喜，我为彼广大之欢喜与极度欢喜所遍布。

Just as this Prajñāpāramitā is endowed with skillful means and is complete, may we also be endowed with skillful means and be complete in Prajñāpāramitā. Also, having paid homage to Dharma Protector (chos 'phags). The Bodhisattva Sadāprarudita and five hundred daughters, including the daughter of the merchant, made offerings to the Prajñāpāramitā. Also, having paid homage to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharma Protector. The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharma Protector's feet, they bowed down with their heads and, with palms joined, sat to one side. Having sat to one side, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Sadāprarudita spoke thus to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharma Protector: Noble son, here I am searching for this Prajñāpāramitā, and when I went to a solitary hermitage, noble son, a voice said: Go to the east, and you will hear the Prajñāpāramitā. Having heard the true teachings from that voice, I went to the east and thought: How long should I go to that voice? From whom should I hear the Prajñāpāramitā and be able to find it? I did not ask the voice about the true place to go. Thinking thus, I became unhappy and extremely distressed. In that place, seven days and nights passed, and being so extremely distressed, I did not think of food, but elsewhere I only thought of the Prajñāpāramitā, how long should I go, and from whom should I hear the Prajñāpāramitā and be able to find it? I did not ask that voice. Then, a Tathāgata's body appeared before me, and it said: Noble son, go gradually five hundred yojanas from here, and in the city called Gandhavatī (spos ldan), you will see the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharma Protector teaching and explaining the Prajñāpāramitā. Having said this, I became filled with great joy and exceeding joy, and I was pervaded by that great joy and exceeding joy.

变成那样后，没有从那个地方移动，你听到了宣说般若波罗蜜多。我听到那个后，生起了许多三摩地的门。我那时在那里时，十方世界的佛薄伽梵们给予鼓励说：善哉，善哉，善男子，善哉善哉！你的这些三摩地是从般若波罗蜜多中产生的。安住于此，我们也圆满了诸佛之法。那些如来对我极好地显示，让我如实地领受，如实地赞叹，如实地欢喜，然后隐没不见了。 我也从那个三摩地中起来后，这样想：那些如来从哪里来？那些如来往哪里去？然后我又这样想：菩萨摩诃萨圣法贤是获得了陀罗尼，具有五种神通，对以前的胜者们做了应做之事，积累了善根，对般若波罗蜜多和方便善巧极好地修习。他会如实地为我宣说那些如来从哪里来和那些如来往哪里去的意义。我这样想后，从听到如来的身语中，按照如何教导的那样，向东方嘎瓦尔走去，走去后，从很远的地方，我看到了圣者宣说法的法贤，刚一看到，我就像比丘进入初禅，一心一意地作意那样的快乐生起了。种姓之子，你问我那些如来从哪里来，那些如来往哪里去。种姓之子，为了我能寻找到那些如来的来去，并且能不离开地见到如来，请为我讲述那些如来的来去吧！圣八千颂般若波罗蜜多中的常啼品，第三十品完毕。 第三十品，常啼。

Having become like that, without moving from that place, you heard the exposition of the Prajñāpāramitā. When I heard that, many doors of samādhi arose. When I was there, the Buddhas, the Bhagavats of the ten directions, gave encouragement, saying: "Good, good, son of good family, good, good! These samādhis of yours have arisen from the Prajñāpāramitā. By abiding in this, we too have perfected the dharmas of the Buddhas." Those Tathāgatas showed me very well, made me truly accept, truly praised, truly rejoiced, and then disappeared. I also arose from that samādhi and thought: "From where did those Tathāgatas come? Where did those Tathāgatas go?" Then I thought again: "The Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, the noble Dharma-virtuous, has obtained dhāraṇī, possesses the five superknowledges, has done what should be done for the previous victors, has accumulated roots of virtue, and has trained very well in the Prajñāpāramitā and skillful means. He will truly explain to me the meaning of where those Tathāgatas came from and where those Tathāgatas went." After thinking this, from hearing the voice of the Tathāgata's body, according to how it was taught, I went to Gawal in the east. After going, from a long distance, I saw the noble Dharma-virtuous expounding the Dharma. As soon as I saw him, I felt the same kind of joy as a bhikṣu entering the first dhyāna, focusing his mind one-pointedly. Son of good family, you ask me from where those Tathāgatas came and where those Tathāgatas went. Son of good family, in order for me to find the coming and going of those Tathāgatas, and to see the Tathāgatas without parting, please tell me about the coming and going of those Tathāgatas!
