O! It is called Unequalled. It is called Unequal and Equal. It causes all the world to obtain benefit. It causes all the world to obtain happiness. It becomes the protector of those without protectors. It is permitted by the Buddha and praised by the Buddha. Ananda, having trained in this training and abiding in this training, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, even if they were to lift this three-thousand great thousand world realm with one toe of their foot and then put it back down, those Buddhas, Blessed Ones, would not think, 'I have lifted or put down this three-thousand great thousand world realm.' Why is that? Because the Perfection of Wisdom is endowed with immeasurable, countless qualities. Ananda, having trained in this training of the Perfection of Wisdom, the Buddhas, Blessed Ones, have attained the state of non-attachment to the phenomena that have occurred in the past, future, and present. Ananda, whatever trainings there are in the past, future, and present times, among all those trainings, Ananda, this training of the Perfection of Wisdom is called the Supreme. It is called Excellent. It is called Principal. It is called Best. It is called Most Excellent. It is called Abundant. It is called Supreme. It is called Unsurpassed. It is called Incomparable. It is called Unequalled. It is called Unequal and Equal. Ananda, the Perfection of Wisdom is immeasurable. Ananda, the Perfection of Wisdom is inexhaustible. Why is that? Because the Perfection of Wisdom is emptiness itself. Ananda, whoever thinks of measuring, exhausting, or grasping the limit of the Perfection of Wisdom is thinking of measuring, exhausting, or grasping the limit of space. Why is that? Ananda, because the Perfection of Wisdom is immeasurable. Ananda, the Perfection of Wisdom is inexhaustible. Ananda, the Perfection of Wisdom is without limit. Ananda, I have not spoken of the measure, exhaustion, or limit of the Perfection of Wisdom, Ananda, and also the collection of names and words.

The collection of names, the collection of words, and the collection of letters are related to measure, but Kungawo (Ananda), the Prajnaparamita is not related to measure. What is the reason for that? Kungawo, the collection of names, the collection of words, and the collection of letters are not the Prajnaparamita. Kungawo, the Prajnaparamita is not endowed with measure. Kungawo, the Prajnaparamita is immeasurable. Kungawo asked: World Honored One, for what reason did the World Honored One not speak of the measure of the Prajnaparamita? The World Honored One said: Kungawo, because the Prajnaparamita is inexhaustible, the Tathagata did not indicate measure. Kungawo, because the Prajnaparamita is solitary, the Tathagata did not speak of measure. Kungawo, if solitude is not specified in the Dharma of solitude, where is its measure? Kungawo, similarly, because the Prajnaparamita is immeasurable, it is without measure and is immeasurable. Kungawo, in the past, those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas who have appeared were also Kungawo, completely distinguished by this Prajnaparamita, but Kungawo, this Prajnaparamita will not be exhausted or completely exhausted. Kungawo, in the future, those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas who will appear will also be Kungawo, completely distinguished by this Prajnaparamita, but Kungawo, this Prajnaparamita will not be exhausted or completely exhausted. Kungawo, in the immeasurable and countless realms of the world like stars, those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas who dwell, live, and exist are also Kungawo, completely distinguished by this Prajnaparamita, but Kungawo, this Prajnaparamita will not be exhausted or completely exhausted.

Although expounded by this venerable one, Ananda, this Prajnaparamita will not be exhausted or completely depleted. Why is that? Ananda, whoever thinks that the Prajnaparamita can be exhausted is thinking that space can be exhausted. Ananda, therefore, this Prajnaparamita is inexhaustible. Then, the venerable Subhuti thought: This place spoken of by the Blessed One is very profound, I will ask the Blessed One about this place. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, is the Prajnaparamita inexhaustible? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the Prajnaparamita is inexhaustible, just as space is inexhaustible, therefore all dharmas are unborn. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva realize the Prajnaparamita? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should realize the Prajnaparamita by the very non-exhaustion of form. Subhuti, likewise, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should realize the Prajnaparamita by the very non-exhaustion of feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. Subhuti, thus should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva realize the Prajnaparamita. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should realize the Prajnaparamita by the very non-exhaustion of ignorance. Subhuti, likewise, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should realize the Prajnaparamita by the very non-exhaustion of formations, the very non-exhaustion of consciousness, the very non-exhaustion of name and form, the very non-exhaustion of the six sense bases, the very non-exhaustion of contact, the very non-exhaustion of feeling, the very non-exhaustion of craving, the very non-exhaustion of grasping, the very non-exhaustion of becoming, the very non-exhaustion of birth, the very non-exhaustion of old age and death, and the very non-exhaustion of sorrow, lamentation, suffering, distress, and agitation.
