Now, this dharma called "that" does not exist. For example, the dharma called "omniscience" does not exist; who would understand it, who would manifestly and perfectly awaken to it? Therefore, nothing will definitely arise, because those dharmas that manifestly and perfectly awaken, that will manifestly and perfectly awaken, that know, and that are to be known are all like the sky, and you are pointlessly afflicted. For example, to say that one will manifestly and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment is shown to be the work of a demon, and saying that this is not what the Buddha taught, and that whatever causes separation is the work of a demon, a son or daughter of good family should understand it in that way, think about it in that way, recognize it in that way. Having thought in that way, one should make one's mind firm in that. One should make one's mind unmoving and not be stolen away. Subhuti, a bodhisattva mahasattva who possesses those aspects, those signs, and those characteristics should also be regarded as irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Furthermore, Subhuti, that irreversible bodhisattva mahasattva will turn away from the shravakas and pratyekabuddhas and will enter into omniscience. If they wish, they will enter into the samadhi of the first dhyana. Likewise, the second, likewise, the third, and likewise, they will enter into the samadhi of the fourth dhyana, and they will abide in those four dhyanas and become fully familiar with dhyana. Even though they enter into those dhyanas, they will not be born by the power of dhyana, and if they wish, they will abide in the dharmas of conduct. Subhuti, this should also be recognized as the characteristic of irreversibility of an irreversible bodhisattva mahasattva. Furthermore, Subhuti, an irreversible bodhisattva mahasattva does not excessively pursue names, does not excessively pursue fame, sounds, and verses; they do not cling to names. Their minds are not confused, and they transform into minds that benefit all sentient beings; they come and go

If one does not go because of mental distraction, the mind will not come in a distracted state; rather, one comes mindfully and goes mindfully. Even if one dwells at home, one will not be particularly attached to desires, nor will one have particularly strong thoughts about them. One enjoys desires with the perception of disgust, and one enjoys desires with the perception of fear. Subhuti, for example, if a person goes into a desolate place frequented by thieves and engages in the activity of eating, he engages in the activity of eating with the perception of fear and engages in the activity of eating with the perception of leaving. He thinks, 'How soon can I escape from this desolate place frequented by thieves?' He recognizes this and eats quickly. Similarly, Subhuti, a bodhisattva-mahasattva who is irreversible also dwells at home and enjoys whatever desires he enjoys without greed or attachment. He does not seek those five desirable qualities that are of the nature of joy and happiness. If they dwell at home, they do not live by equal or unequal means, but live only by the Dharma and not by what is not the Dharma. Even if they die, they do not easily harm others. Why is that? Because these noble beings, great beings, supreme beings, most supreme beings, beautiful beings, excellent beings, vast beings, principal beings, best beings, precious beings, lotus beings, white lotus beings, swift beings, elephant beings, lion beings, tamers of beings, will lead all sentient beings to the supreme bliss. Subhuti, thus, those bodhisattva-mahasattvas dwell at home in order to obtain the power to increase the perfection of wisdom. Subhuti, a bodhisattva-mahasattva who possesses these forms, these signs, and these characteristics should be regarded as irreversible from unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Furthermore, Subhuti, for a bodhisattva-mahasattva who is irreversible, a great yaksha holding a vajra in his hand
