He will be without mental distraction, and will not be deficient in faculties. He will have complete faculties, and will not lack complete faculties. He will possess the faculties of a supreme being, and will not be other than a noble being. He will not apply all those types of mantras, herbs, vidyas, and medicines, etc., that control women, to everything in every way. His livelihood will be completely pure, and he will not live by wrong means. He will not become a contentious and argumentative speaker, nor a person of principle. His views will be upright, he will not praise himself, nor will he slander others. He will possess those qualities and other qualities as well. He will not prophesy to men and women, saying, "You will have a son" or "You will have a daughter," because he will not manifest the nature of such faults as predicting everything. Furthermore, Subhuti, with what aspects, what signs, and what characteristics does a Bodhisattva, A Mahasattva, need to be endowed to be known as irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment?

If one wishes to see, one hopes that in other world realms, those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas reside, live, and remain. In order to be born near them, one generates the mind of enlightenment, and if one wishes for those places, one is born near them. In this way, they see the Tathagata, attend to the Tathagata, and will not be separated. Subhuti, furthermore, irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, having died and transmigrated from the gods who abide in the desire realm, or having died and transmigrated from the gods who abide in the form realm, or having died and transmigrated from the gods who abide in the formless realm, are then reborn in this central region of Jambudvipa, as people who are skilled in arts, skilled in poetry and meter, skilled in mantras, skilled in intelligence, skilled in treatises, skilled in signs, and skilled in the meaning of the Dharma. Those who are born in border regions are few; mostly they are born in central regions. Those who are born in border regions are also born in great cities, and they also possess these qualities. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses these forms, these marks, and these signs should be regarded as irreversible from unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Subhuti, furthermore, an irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not think, 'Am I irreversible?' or 'Am I not irreversible?' Because of this, he himself does not generate doubt, does not hesitate, and will not be completely discouraged. Subhuti, for example, a stream-enterer does not doubt or hesitate about his own fruit of stream-entry; similarly, Subhuti, an irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not doubt or hesitate about his own Bodhisattva ground, and he himself will not be completely discouraged because of it. He also quickly recognizes the actions born and arisen from Mara, and he is not controlled by those actions born and arisen from Mara. Subhuti, for example, if a person commits the five heinous crimes
