Therefore, this is the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, having trained in this, will attain omniscience, have attained it, are attaining it, and will attain it. Then, the Blessed One, the venerable Gangpo Maitreya's son, said this: Blessed One, for the sake of constant Prajnaparamita, this blessing, I think the Great Vehicle should be taught. Then, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, I have not taught the Great Vehicle in contradiction to Prajnaparamita. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is not so, Subhuti, you are teaching the Great Vehicle in accordance with Prajnaparamita. Having said this, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, this is the power of the Buddha. Blessed One, moreover, the Bodhisattva does not cling to the prior limit, the Bodhisattva does not cling to the posterior limit, the Bodhisattva does not cling to the middle either. Why does he not cling? Because form has no limit, therefore the Bodhisattva also has no limit, it should be understood in this way. Similarly, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness have no limit, therefore the Bodhisattva also has no limit, it should be understood in this way. He does not cling to form as being a Bodhisattva, because this does not exist, it is invisible. Similarly, he does not cling to feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness as being a Bodhisattva, because this does not exist, it is invisible. Blessed One, thus, I do not see the Dharma of the Bodhisattva from all aspects, in all ways, in all places, therefore, Blessed One, for example, the Dharma in which this name called Bodhisattva exists, is not truly seen. Prajnaparamita is also not truly seen, it is invisible, omniscience is also not truly seen, it is invisible, Blessed One.

If I have not seen and perceived all things in all things, in all ways, completely and truly, how shall I instruct and teach what dharma, with what dharma, to what dharma? Blessed One, what is called "Buddha" is just a name. Blessed One, what is called "Bodhisattva" is also just a name. Blessed One, what is called "Prajnaparamita" is also just a name. And that name is also not manifestly established. Blessed One, just as how I say "I, I," Blessed One, I am indeed not manifestly established. Thus, for all things that lack inherent existence, What is the form that is not to be grasped and is not manifestly established? What are feeling, perception, and formations? What is the consciousness that is not to be grasped and is not manifestly established? Thus, the inherent existence of all those things is what is not manifestly established. And what is not manifestly established in all things is also not a thing. Therefore, for Prajnaparamita, with what is not manifestly established, what shall I instruct and teach to what is not manifestly established? Blessed One, other than what is not manifestly established, all things, or the Dharma of the Buddha, or the Dharma of the Bodhisattva, or any conduct that leads to enlightenment, are not seen. Blessed One, if it is thus spoken, thus taught, and thus closely shown, the mind of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not shrink back, is not utterly dismayed, and is not afraid. He does not shrink back, his mind does not turn away, is not defeated, and does not turn away. He is not alarmed, is not utterly afraid, and does not become utterly fearful, then this Bodhisattva Mahasattva is practicing Prajnaparamita. This Bodhisattva Mahasattva is meditating on Prajnaparamita. This Bodhisattva Mahasattva is closely contemplating Prajnaparamita. This Bodhisattva Mahasattva is definitely thinking about Prajnaparamita, it should be understood thus. Why is that? Blessed One, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is in Prajnaparamita.

when one has gone to the other shore, these dharmas are close. At the time of thinking, one does not closely think about form, one does not closely grasp form, one does not correctly see the arising of form, one does not correctly see the cessation of form. Likewise, not feeling, not perception, not formations, consciousness is not closely thought about, consciousness is not closely grasped, one does not correctly see the arising of consciousness, one does not correctly see the cessation of consciousness. What is the reason for this? Thus, whatever is the non-existence of the arising of form, that is not form. Whatever is the non-existence of the destruction of form, that is not form. Therefore, the non-existence of arising and what is called form, these two do not exist and cannot be made into two. Therefore, the non-existence of destruction and what is called form, these two also do not exist and cannot be made into two. Whatever is called form, this belongs to the number of non-existence of two. Likewise, thus, whatever is of feeling, whatever is of perception, whatever is of formations, thus, whatever is the non-existence of the arising of consciousness, that is not consciousness. Whatever is the non-existence of the destruction of consciousness, that is not consciousness. Therefore, the non-existence of arising and what is called consciousness, these two also do not exist and cannot be made into two. Therefore, the non-existence of destruction and what is called consciousness, these two also do not exist and cannot be made into two. Whatever is called consciousness, this belongs to the number of non-existence of two. Blessed One, thus, in the Prajñāpāramitā, if one closely thinks about all dharmas in all ways, at that time, one does not closely think about form, one does not closely grasp form, one does not correctly see the arising of form, one does not correctly see the cessation of form. Likewise, not feeling, not perception, not formations. Consciousness is not closely thought about, consciousness is not closely grasped, one does not correctly see the arising of consciousness, one does not correctly see the cessation of consciousness. What is the reason for this? Thus, whatever is the non-existence of the arising of form.
