The four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, the thirty-two marks of a great being, and the eighty minor marks, having realized their self-nature to be emptiness, thus teach the Dharma to sentient beings. Similarly, the fruit of stream-enterer, the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, the state of an Arhat, self-awakening, and the juncture of habits of unsurpassed perfect and complete awakening, and the abandonment of all defilements, having realized their self-nature to be emptiness, thus teach the Dharma to sentient beings. Subhuti, if intrinsic emptiness were a thing, then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva would not teach sentient beings that all phenomena are intrinsically empty, and intrinsic emptiness would also be destroyed. Similarly, if external emptiness, internal-external emptiness, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, emptiness beyond extremes, emptiness without beginning or end, emptiness of non-abandonment, intrinsic emptiness, emptiness of all dharmas, and emptiness of self-characteristics were things, then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva would not teach sentient beings that all phenomena are intrinsically empty, and intrinsic emptiness would also be destroyed. Intrinsic emptiness will never be destroyed, nor is it permanent, nor does it go. Why is that? Because it does not abide in a place, nor does it abide in a direction, because it does not come from anywhere, nor does it go anywhere. It is the abiding nature of the dharmas of all phenomena, and in it there is no increasing, decreasing, arising, ceasing, defilement, or purification of dharmas, it is the self-nature of all phenomena. Abiding in that self-nature, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva

O, although seeking the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, one does not see any dharma to enter. Therefore, he sees that all dharmas have no entry and no abiding. This is the abiding nature of the dharmas. Therefore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, seeing that all dharmas are empty of inherent existence, he does not regress from the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. What is the reason for this? Because he abides in the emptiness of inherent existence, without any object of focus on self, sentient beings, those who are born, those who nourish, the person, those born of power, the sons of power, the doer, the one who causes to do, the receiver, the one who causes to receive, the knower, the seer. Similarly, there is no object of focus on form, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. Similarly, extending to the eighty minor marks, there is no object of focus, and one should extensively cultivate. Abiding in the emptiness of inherent existence, one does not see any obstruction in any dharma, because he sees that all dharmas are without obstruction. Subhuti, for example, to the people emanated by the Tathagata, if a bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, upasaka, or upasika emanated by the Tathagata were to teach the Dharma continuously for a kalpa or more than a kalpa, Subhuti, what do you think about this? Is it possible for those people emanated by the Tathagata to obtain the fruit of stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, or even the state of Arhat? He replied: Venerable Bhagavan, it is not possible. What is the reason for this? Because they have no substance. The Bhagavan said: Subhuti, it is just so. It is just so, how can one obtain results from dharmas that have no substance? Subhuti, since all dharmas are without substance, what wise person would think that one can obtain the fruit of stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, Arhatship, or self-enlightenment, or unsurpassed perfect enlightenment?

They manifest attachment to the corrupted Bodhi. Furthermore, they place and firmly establish beings who have fallen into inversion in the absence of inversion. Since there is no conceptualization, that is also not inversion. For that which is without inversion, there is no self. There are no sentient beings. There is nothing in between the knower and the seer. For that, there is no form. There is no feeling. There is no perception. There are no formations. There is no consciousness. For that which has no form, no feeling, no perception, no formations, and no consciousness, there is nothing from no-self up to the eighty minor marks. That is emptiness by its very nature. There, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who abides and practices the Perfection of Wisdom liberates beings from inversion, that is, from perceiving sentient beings where there are none, and similarly from perceiving permanence, perceiving happiness, perceiving self, perceiving suffering, and similarly from liberating beings who perceive form, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, up to perceiving consciousness. Similarly, it should be applied to the dharmas between those with outflows and those without outflows. What are the dharmas without outflows? Namely, the four mindfulnesses, the four right abandonments, the four legs of miraculous powers, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, and the noble eightfold path. The three doors of liberation. Similarly, combining up to the eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddhas, those are also not truly unconditioned as they are. That is unborn and without substance, that is emptiness by its very nature. That is the Bodhi of the Buddhas, the Bhagavad Buddhas, for that, there is no self. There are no sentient beings. There is nothing in between the knower and the seer. There is no form. There is no feeling. There is no perception. There are no formations. There is no consciousness.
