Form, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness do not exist. For space, from the non-existence of inner emptiness to the non-existence of outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, and the emptiness of the nature of non-things. For space, from the non-existence of the four mindfulnesses to the non-existence of the noble eightfold path. The ten powers of the Tathagata and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha do not exist. For space, the fruit of stream-entry does not exist, the fruit of once-returning does not exist, the fruit of non-returning, arhatship, self-awakening, and unsurpassed perfect awakening do not exist. Venerable Lord, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who don this great armor are worthy of reverence. Venerable Lord, those who don armor for the sake of sentient beings are striving, endeavoring, and toiling for the sake of space. Venerable Lord, those who wish to liberate sentient beings from samsara and don great armor are wishing to completely liberate space. Venerable Lord, those who don armor for the sake of sentient beings are wishing to support space. Venerable Lord, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who, for the sake of sentient beings, attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, have obtained great power of diligence. Venerable Lord, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who, for the sake of all sentient beings, correctly enter into unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, are courageous and steadfast. Venerable Lord, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who, for the sake of sentient beings like space, wish to manifestly awaken to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, are donning great armor, donning inconceivable and incomparable armor. Why is that? Venerable Lord, if the three thousand great thousand worlds

If this world were to be exemplified by Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas alone, it would be entirely filled like a reed forest, or a forest of light, or a sugarcane forest, or a rice field, or an arrow-shaft forest. Those Tathāgatas would also remain for a kalpa or more than a kalpa, teaching the Dharma. Each of those Tathāgatas would also completely liberate immeasurable, countless, and limitless beings from suffering, yet, venerable one, Blessed One, no decrease or increase is seen in the realm of beings. Why is that? Because there are no beings, because beings are solitary. Likewise, connect as before, expanding the connection between the realms of the ten directions. Venerable one, Blessed One, therefore I say that those who don the great armor for the sake of beings, who awaken to perfect enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment, should completely liberate the sky. So I say. Then, in that same assembly, a monk thought thus: Alas, venerable one, Blessed One, although no phenomena arise or cease, there are aggregates of discipline, aggregates of concentration, aggregates of wisdom, aggregates of liberation, and aggregates of the wisdom of seeing liberation. Likewise, there are stream-enterers, once-returners, non-returners, Arhats, solitary Buddhas, and Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas. There are also Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. There is also the Buddha Jewel, the Dharma Jewel, and the Sangha Jewel. I also pay homage to the Prajñāpāramitā that turns the wheel of Dharma. Then, Śakra, lord of the gods, said this to the venerable Subhūti: Venerable Subhūti, that a Bodhisattva engages in yoga practice of the Prajñāpāramitā, on what does he engage in yoga practice?

The venerable Subhūti said: "If one intends to engage in yoga practice with the Perfection of Wisdom, it is like engaging in yoga practice with the sky." Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, addressed the Blessed One, saying: "Venerable Blessed One, how should I provide protection, shelter, and concealment for any son or daughter of good family who holds, recites, fully comprehends, reads, and properly contemplates this Perfection of Wisdom?" Then, the venerable Subhūti said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: "Kauśika, do you truly see anything that needs to be protected, sheltered, and concealed?" He replied: "Venerable Subhūti, no." Subhūti said: "Kauśika, if those sons or daughters of good family abide in this Perfection of Wisdom as it has been taught, that itself becomes their protection, shelter, and concealment. Neither humans nor non-humans who seek opportunities will find any fault in them. Those sons or daughters of good family who abide in the Perfection of Wisdom as it has been taught should be known as inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom. Kauśika, if someone intends to provide protection, shelter, and concealment for those Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas who practice the Perfection of Wisdom, it is like intending to provide protection, shelter, and concealment for the sky. Kauśika, can you provide protection, shelter, and concealment for dreams, mirages, optical illusions, magic, and apparitions?" He replied: "Venerable Subhūti, no." Kauśika, similarly, if someone intends to provide protection, shelter, and concealment for those Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas who practice the Perfection of Wisdom, it will become fruitless and a cause of fatigue. Kauśika, what do you think? Can you provide protection, shelter, and concealment for the Tathāgata or the apparitions of the Tathāgata?" He replied: "Venerable Subhūti, no." Kauśika, similarly, if someone
