Also, he established the vehicle of the solitary Buddha and the vehicle of the perfectly enlightened Buddha. Then, the Blessed One spoke to those gods, including the Lord of Power, saying: "Sons of the gods, it is so. Just as you say, sons of the gods, for example, form, or feeling, or perception, or formations, or consciousness, or even up to the all-knowingness, although there is no dharma that can be pointed out, he also establishes the three vehicles. These three vehicles are: the vehicle of the hearers, the vehicle of the solitary Buddha, and the vehicle of the perfectly enlightened Buddha. Sons of the gods, a Bodhisattva who is not separated from this perfection of wisdom, and who is in a way that is non-apprehending, you should regard him as the Tathagata himself. Why is that? Sons of the gods, in this perfection of wisdom, these three vehicles, namely the vehicle of the hearers, the vehicle of the solitary Buddha, and the vehicle of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, are extensively taught. Sons of the gods, even apart from the perfection of generosity, the Tathagata cannot be pointed out, and even apart from the perfection of wisdom, the Tathagata cannot be pointed out. Similarly, even apart from the emptiness of the interior, up to the emptiness of the nature of non-entity, the Tathagata cannot be pointed out. Even apart from the mindfulness and the noble eightfold path, the Tathagata cannot be pointed out. Similarly, even apart from the ten powers of the Tathagata and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, the Tathagata cannot be pointed out. Even apart from the all-knowingness, the Tathagata cannot be pointed out. Sons of the gods, the Bodhisattva also learns all these, that is, from the perfection of generosity, and so on, until he learns the all-knowingness. Sons of the gods, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices without being separated from this perfection of wisdom should be known as the Tathagata himself. Sons of the gods, I...

At the time when the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Dipamkara, scattered five lotuses in the lotus-adorned royal palace and resided in the center of the marketplace, he was not separated from the perfection of generosity in an inconceivable manner. Likewise, he was not separated from the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom. Likewise, from inner emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things, likewise, he was not separated from the mindfulnesses and up to the noble eightfold path. Likewise, he was not separated from the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, all the samadhis of the Bodhisattvas, all the doors of Dharani, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. At that time, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Dipamkara, said to me: 'O son of good family, in the future, in this world of the fortunate aeon, after countless aeons, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, Supreme, Teacher of Gods and Humans, Buddha, Bhagavan, Shakyamuni will appear.' And he prophesied that I would attain the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Then, those sons of the gods said to the Bhagavan: 'Venerable Bhagavan, it is wonderful how this perfection of wisdom benefits the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas in a way that does not abandon omniscience!' The Hundred Thousand Verses on the Perfection of Wisdom, Chapter Sixteen. Then, the Bhagavan addressed the fourfold assembly, namely, monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, and Bodhisattvas.

Beginning with the great Earth Goddess and the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, and likewise extending upwards, all the gods up to Akanishta are gathered together, understanding in their hearts and establishing everything as witness. The Blessed One then spoke thus to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: Kauśika, whether it be a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, or a Bhikshu, or a Bhikshuni, or an Upasaka, or an Upasika, or a god, or a god's son, or a god's daughter, whoever hears this Bhagavati Prajnaparamita, and does not depart from the mind of all-knowingness, then the evil Mara or the gods of Mara's retinue who seek an opportunity will not find an opportunity or a chance. Why is that? Because this son of good family or daughter of good family has very diligently blessed form as emptiness, and likewise, feeling as emptiness, perception as emptiness, formations as emptiness, and consciousness as emptiness. Why is that? Because emptiness does not find an opportunity in emptiness, signlessness does not find an opportunity in signlessness, wishlessness does not find an opportunity in wishlessness. Thus, applying it as above, this son of good family or daughter of good family has very diligently blessed all-knowingness as emptiness, up to all-knowingness. Why is that? Because emptiness does not find an opportunity in emptiness, signlessness does not find an opportunity in signlessness, wishlessness does not find an opportunity in wishlessness. Why is that? Because whatever could find an opportunity in them, and the dharmas in which an opportunity could be found, those are without inherent existence. Kauśika, neither humans nor non-humans who seek an opportunity will find an opportunity in that son of good family or daughter of good family. Why is that? Kauśika, because this son of good family or daughter of good family has very diligently cultivated a mind of loving-kindness towards all sentient beings, and likewise, a mind of compassion, a mind of joy, and a mind of equanimity, and that too, cultivated in a way that does not fixate on anything. Kau
