Rejoicing and flowing exceedingly. All of those waters are covered with utpalas, kumudas, and white lotuses. They are also covered with other flowers of great and excellent kinds, emanating fragrant scents. There is no kind of flower that exists in the three-thousand great-thousand world realm that is not there. Within that city, there are five hundred gardens, all made of the seven precious jewels, exceedingly radiant and beautiful to behold. In each of those gardens, there are five hundred ponds, each with a circumference of a krosha. Around all of those ponds, utpalas, kumudas, and white lotuses made of the seven precious jewels grow, exceedingly radiant and beautiful to behold. They cover the water. All of those utpalas, kumudas, and white lotuses have stems as thick as chariot wheels. Blue ones are blue in color, appear blue, and emit blue light. Yellow ones are yellow in color, appear yellow, and emit yellow light. Red ones are red in color, appear red, and emit red light. White ones are white in color, appear white, and emit white light. In all of those ponds, there are geese, cranes, karanda birds, and birds that make laughing sounds. All of those gardens are unattended and without boundaries. Thus, those beings who have long practiced the Perfection of Wisdom and have long had faith in the profound Dharma, are accomplished by the ripening of their past karma. Son of good family, in the central crossroads of those cities, there is the house of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor, made of the seven precious jewels, with a circumference of one yojana, exceedingly radiant and beautiful to behold, surrounded by seven layers of walls and seven rows of tala trees. In that house, as the enjoyment of the house, there are gardens called Always Joyful, Sorrowless, Devoid of Sorrow, Various Flowers, and gardens.

There are four gardens, and each of those gardens has eight ponds named Good, Excellent, Joyful, Most Joyful, Peaceful, Possessing Peace, Certain, and Non-falling. One side of those ponds is made of gold, the second side is made of silver, the third side is made of beryl, and the fourth side is made of crystal. The ground inside is made of Kekeeru, spread with gold sand. Each of those ponds has eight staircases adorned with various kinds of jewels in different forms. From between all those staircases grow golden trees of the Jambu River. All the water in those ponds is covered with Kumuda flowers, Utpala flowers, and various white lotuses. Swans, cranes, and magpies make sounds. Around those ponds grow various kinds of flower trees. When the wind moves those trees and the flowers fall into the ponds, the water in all those ponds is filled with the scent of sandalwood and has color and fragrance. There, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor, together with his retinue of sixty-eight thousand women, possesses and enjoys the five objects of desire, playing and rejoicing. All the other male and female beings who dwell in that city also always rejoice in the gardens or ponds, possessing and enjoying the five objects of desire, playing and rejoicing. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor, together with his retinue, plays and rejoices, and there he teaches the Prajnaparamita in the three times. Whatever beings dwell in the city of Fragrant Everywhere also set up a throne with legs of gold, legs of silver, legs of beryl, and legs of crystal for the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor at the crossroads in the center of the city, spread with cotton, spread with cushions with inner padding, made with a core on top, and spread with Kashi cloth.

第五，陈设一个跨度为半由旬的地方，在上面的虚空中悬挂用珍珠装饰的布幔。像这样恭敬地对待佛法，那个地方的周围，也明显地散布着五颜六色的鲜花，那个地方也用各种香和各种熏香来熏香。在那里，菩萨摩诃萨法胜安住，宣讲般若波罗蜜多。种姓之子，那些众生就是这样恭敬地，从菩萨摩诃萨法胜那里听闻般若波罗蜜多。在那里，听闻的天神、人和众多有情，成千上万的有情，成百上千的有情聚集的那些人中，有些人学习诵读，有些人受持，有些人背诵，有些人复述，有些人接受教诫，有些人念诵，有些人抄写，有些人如理作意而证悟。那些众生全部都是不堕恶趣之法，全部都是不退转于无上正等菩提。种姓之子，你去那位菩萨摩诃萨法胜那里，将会听闻般若波罗蜜多。种姓之子，那是你长久以来的善知识，是正确地显示、正确地引导受持、正确地赞叹、正确地使之欢喜于无上正等菩提者。种姓之子，我也像你现在寻求一样，先前完全寻求过般若波罗蜜多。种姓之子，你日夜作意，不要间断地去，不久将会听闻般若波罗蜜多。之后，菩萨摩诃萨常啼，听闻之后，生起欢喜、喜悦、心满意足、非常满意和喜悦，以及心安乐，就像这样：例如，如果一个人被毒箭射中，不会生起其他的作意，只会想：谁能使我从这个痛苦中解脱，我什么时候能找到拔出毒刺的医生呢？就像那样。

Fifth, having prepared a place spanning half a yojana, and having hung a cloth canopy decorated with pearls in the space above, in this way, being respectful to the Dharma, that place and its surroundings were also manifestly strewn with flowers of five colors, and that place was also thoroughly perfumed with various incenses and various fumigations. There, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor resided, teaching the Perfection of Wisdom. Son of good family, those sentient beings were thus respectful, and listened to the Perfection of Wisdom from the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor. There, among those assembled gods, humans, and many sentient beings who were listening, many hundreds of sentient beings, many thousands of sentient beings, and many hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, some were learning to recite, some were retaining, some were memorizing, some were repeating, some were receiving instructions, some were chanting, some were writing, and some were realizing through proper attention. All of those sentient beings were of the nature of not falling into evil destinies, and all were solely non-returning from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Son of good family, go to that Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victor, and you will hear the Perfection of Wisdom from him. Son of good family, he has been your virtuous friend for a long time, and he is the one who correctly shows, correctly guides to uphold, correctly praises, and correctly makes one rejoice in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Son of good family, I too, just as you are seeking now, previously sought the Perfection of Wisdom completely. Son of good family, you should attend to it day and night, and go without interruption, and before long you will hear the Perfection of Wisdom. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ever Weeping, having heard that, experienced joy, delight, satisfaction, great satisfaction, and happiness, and mental ease, like this: For example, if a person is struck by a poisoned arrow, he does not generate any other thought, but only thinks: Who will free me from this suffering, when will I find the doctor who will extract the thorn? Just like that.
