变成了一座楼房。金银之花在空中如同无量宫一般。法衣和珍贵的衣服也如同各种珍宝的云彩的坛城一般。菩萨摩诃萨常啼和商人的女儿等五百个女儿，看到了菩萨摩诃萨法胜的如此神变，她们心想真是太神奇了！这位菩萨摩诃萨法胜，如此神变广大，如此威力强大，如此光辉灿烂。这位善男子在行菩萨行时，尚且有如此的神变幻化，那么证得无上圆满正等觉时，又将如何呢？之后，商人的女儿等五百个女儿，对菩萨摩诃萨法胜生起了极大的欢喜心，她们都发起了无上圆满正等觉之心，这样说道：以此善根，愿我等未来之时，成为如来应供正等觉。在行菩萨行时，愿我等也能获得如菩萨摩诃萨法胜所获得的这些法。愿我等在行菩萨行时，也能现证这些法。如同菩萨摩诃萨法胜恭敬般若波罗蜜多一样，愿我等也能恭敬般若波罗蜜多。如同菩萨摩诃萨法胜宣说一样，愿我等也能为众多众生宣说。如同这位菩萨摩诃萨法胜，具足般若波罗蜜多和善巧方便并且圆满一样，愿我等也能具足般若波罗蜜多和善巧方便并且圆满。

It turned into a multi-storied building. The gold and silver flowers appeared in the sky like immeasurable palaces. The Dharma robes and precious garments also appeared like mandalas of clouds of various jewels. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita and the merchant's daughter, along with five hundred other daughters, saw such miraculous displays of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata and thought, 'How wonderful!' This Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata, so great in miraculous power, so mighty, and so glorious, even while practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, has such transformations. What will it be like when he attains unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? Then, the merchant's daughter and the five hundred other daughters developed great joy towards the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata. All of them generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, saying, 'By this root of virtue, may we in the future become Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly and completely enlightened Buddhas. While practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, may we also attain such Dharmas as those attained by the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata. While practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, may we also realize these Dharmas directly. Just as the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata reveres the Prajñāpāramitā, may we also revere the Prajñāpāramitā. Just as the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata teaches, may we also teach many beings. Just as this Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodhgata is endowed with and perfect in Prajñāpāramitā and skillful means, may we also be endowed with and perfect in Prajñāpāramitā and skillful means.'

这样说了。之后，菩萨摩诃萨常啼和商人的女儿等五百位女儿，对般若波罗蜜多做了供养。也对菩萨摩诃萨法胜做了恭敬。菩萨摩诃萨用法胜的双脚以头顶礼，表达敬意，合掌，在一旁坐下。在一旁坐下后，菩萨摩诃萨常啼对菩萨摩诃萨法胜这样说道：善男子，我为了寻找般若波罗蜜多，去了边远的寂静处，听到了声音说：善男子，往东方去，将会听到般若波罗蜜多。我听到那个声音后，去了东方，这样想：我要向那个声音走多久呢？没有问从谁那里能够听到般若波罗蜜多。这样想着，我因此心中不安，非常痛苦，就在那个地方度过了七个昼夜。这样非常痛苦，就没有心思去想食物。另外，只是想着般若波罗蜜多，想着要走多久，以及从谁那里能够听到般若波罗蜜多，却没有问那个声音。之后，我的面前出现了一个如来的身像，它这样说：善男子，你从这里走五百由旬，到名为香满的城市，在那里，菩萨摩诃萨法胜正在宣讲般若波罗蜜多，你将会看到。这样说了。我从那个如来的身像那里听到这些后，就像所说的那样，去了东方，走着，从很远的地方看到了圣者在说法，刚一看到，我就生起了这样的快乐，就像比丘进入初禅一样。我被喜悦和极度的喜悦所遍布，没有离开那个地方，从你这里……

Thus he spoke. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita, and the five hundred daughters including the merchant's daughter, made offerings to the Prajñāpāramitā. They also revered the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmottara. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva bowed his head to the feet of Dharmottara, showed respect, joined his palms, and sat to one side. Having sat to one side, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita said this to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmottara: 'Noble son, I went to a remote and solitary place seeking the Prajñāpāramitā, and I heard a voice saying: "Noble son, go to the east, and you will hear the Prajñāpāramitā." Having heard that voice, I went to the east, and thought: "How long should I go towards that voice?" I did not ask from whom I could find the Prajñāpāramitā to listen to.' Thinking thus, I became uneasy and very distressed. Seven days and nights passed in that place. Being so distressed, I did not think of food. Otherwise, I only thought of the Prajñāpāramitā, thinking of how long to go and from whom I could find the Prajñāpāramitā to listen to, but I did not ask that voice. Then, a form of the Tathāgata appeared before me, and it said: 'Noble son, go five hundred yojanas from here, to the city called Gandhavatī, and there you will see the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmottara expounding the Prajñāpāramitā.' Thus it spoke. Having heard this from that form of the Tathāgata, I went to the east as it was said, and as I went, I saw the noble one teaching the Dharma from afar. As soon as I saw him, such joy arose in me, like a monk entering the first dhyana. I was pervaded by joy and great joy, and without moving from that place, from you...'

听闻了般若波罗蜜多。听闻之后，生起了许多三摩地之门。我那时在那里，十方世界的佛陀薄伽梵们都为我舒怀赞叹道：‘善哉！善哉！善男子！你的这些三摩地，是从般若波罗蜜多中产生的。安住于此，我们也圆满了佛陀的诸法。’ 那些如来们对我极好地开示，让我如实受持，如实赞叹，如实欢喜，然后隐没不见了。我也从那个三摩地中起身，心想：‘那些如来从何而来？那些如来又往何处去呢？’ 之后我又心想：‘菩萨摩诃萨圣法授，往昔已对诸佛作供养，已造诸善根，已于般若波罗蜜多和善巧方便极善修学。他会为我开示那些如来从何而来，那些如来又往何处去。’ 于是我说：‘善男子，我向您请问那些如来从何而来，那些如来又往何处去。我如何才能寻得那些如来的来处和去处，并且能够见到如来而不分离？请您为我讲述那些如来的来处和去处吧。’ 出自八千颂般若波罗蜜多，名为常啼品，第八十五品。 第八十五品，常啼品。

I heard the Perfection of Wisdom. When I heard it, many doors of Samadhi arose. When I was there, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad Ones, of the ten directions of the world realms, exhaled and said: 'Good, good, son of good family! These Samadhis of yours are born from the Perfection of Wisdom. By abiding in this, we too have completely perfected the Dharmas of the Buddhas.' Those Tathagatas showed me very well, caused me to hold them correctly, praised them correctly, made me rejoice correctly, and then became invisible. I also arose from that Samadhi and thought: 'From where did those Tathagatas come? Where did those Tathagatas go?' Then again I thought: 'The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the noble Dharma-giver, has made offerings to the Buddhas of the past, created roots of virtue, and has been extremely well-trained in the Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means. He will show me from where those Tathagatas came, and where those Tathagatas went.' Then I said: 'Son of good family, I ask you from where those Tathagatas came, and where those Tathagatas went. How can I find the coming and going of those Tathagatas, and be able to see the Tathagatas and not be separated from them? Please tell me about the coming and going of those Tathagatas.' From the Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, called the Chapter of Sadāprarudita, the eighty-fifth chapter. Eighty-fifth chapter, the Chapter of Sadāprarudita.
