恒常哭的身体恢复如初。之后，天界之主帝释天失去勇气，对恒常哭菩萨摩诃萨生不起反驳的勇气，随即隐没不见。之后，那位商人之女对恒常哭菩萨摩诃萨说道： “善男子，请过来！我们将前往我的住所。我将从父母那里获得财物，以此供养般若波罗蜜多，并对菩萨摩诃萨法胜进行尊敬供养。” 之后，恒常哭菩萨摩诃萨与那位商人之女一同前往她的住所。之后，那位商人之女回到家中，对父母说道： “父亲母亲，请赐予我黄金、白银、珍宝、宝石、鲜花、焚香、香、花鬘、涂香、粉末、衣物、伞、幢、幡和众多乐器。我也请允许我和你们赐予我的五百侍女一同前往。我们将与恒常哭菩萨摩诃萨一同前去，为了供养菩萨摩诃萨法胜。他也会为我们讲法的。” 之后，那位女儿的父母对女儿说道： “女儿，那位恒常哭菩萨摩诃萨是谁？女儿，那位善男子现在在哪里？” 女儿说道：“那位善男子现在就在我们的门前。那位善男子以殊胜的意乐进入无上正等菩提，为了使一切众生从无量轮回的痛苦中解脱。他为了求法而卖身，为了供养般若波罗蜜多，为了尊敬供养菩萨摩诃萨法胜，但没有人买他的身体，因此他痛苦且不快乐，不高兴。”

The body of Sadāprarudita returned to its original state. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, became devoid of courage. He did not dare to answer the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Sadāprarudita, and immediately disappeared. Then, that merchant's daughter said to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Sadāprarudita: "Noble son, come here! We will go to my home. I will take wealth from my parents, and with it, I will make offerings to the Perfection of Wisdom and give honor and respect to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharmoddgata." Then, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Sadāprarudita and the merchant's daughter went together to her home. Then, that merchant's daughter went to her home and said to her parents: "Father and mother, please give me gold, silver, precious jewels, gems, flowers, incense, perfumes, flower garlands, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, flags, and many musical instruments. Also, please allow me to go with these five hundred maidservants that you have given me. We will go with the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Sadāprarudita to make offerings to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharmoddgata. He will also teach us the Dharma." Then, the parents of that daughter said to their daughter: "Daughter, who is that Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Sadāprarudita? Daughter, where is that noble son now?" The daughter said, "That noble son is now at our doorstep. That noble son has entered into unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment with a supreme intention, in order to liberate all sentient beings from immeasurable suffering of samsara. He sold himself in order to seek the Dharma, to make offerings to the Perfection of Wisdom, and to honor and respect the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharmoddgata, but no one bought his body, so he is suffering and unhappy, displeased."

At that time, I was on the upper floor, and he wanted to sell his body but couldn't find a buyer. Indra transformed into the form of a Brahmin boy and asked him, "Young man, why do you want to sell your body?" The ever-weeping one replied, "To make offerings to the Prajñāpāramitā and to honor the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharma-victor. My Buddha-dharma depends on this; I am doing it to seek the Dharma." Indra, transformed into the form of a Brahmin boy, said, "I don't want you. For the offering I am making, I need a human heart, blood, bones, and marrow." Without hesitation, the young man agreed to make the offering. He took a sharp knife, pierced his arm, drew blood, cut off the flesh of his thigh, broke the bones, and piled them to one side, thinking, "I will offer the bones and marrow." I saw him bleeding from the upper floor of the house and thought, "Why is this person torturing himself like this?" So I went to him and asked, "Young man, what are you doing by drawing blood from your body like this?" He said to me, "I am offering blood, heart, bones, and marrow to this Brahmin boy. Why? Because I am poor and have no other possessions." I asked him, "What will you do with wealth?" He said to me, "To seek the Dharma, to make offerings to the Prajñāpāramitā, and to honor the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharma-victor." I asked him, "Young man, what kind of merit or benefit will he bring you?" He said to me, "He will fully reveal the inconceivable qualities of the Buddha and the immeasurable Buddha-dharma. After hearing those words, I also felt joy and great delight, thinking: 'This noble son is so happy to be in such a place, it is truly wonderful, truly amazing!' This noble son is willing to give up even himself for the sake of seeking the Dharma. We have vast resources, why don't we make offerings to the Dharma? Why don't we make aspirations for such places?' Thinking this, I said to that noble son: 'Noble son, do not torment yourself like this.
