Any son or daughter of good family who holds, cherishes, recites, fully understands, and properly contemplates this Perfection of Wisdom, and who honors, respects, esteems, and makes offerings with flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, unguents, powders, cloths, umbrellas, banners, and flags, regards it as a teacher, draws pictures of it, and makes offerings, will fully acquire those qualities in this life. Kauśika. Furthermore, any son or daughter of good family who holds, cherishes, recites, fully understands, and properly contemplates this Perfection of Wisdom, and who writes it in a book and honors, respects, esteems, and makes offerings with flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, unguents, powders, cloths, umbrellas, banners, and flags, regards it as a teacher, draws pictures of it, and makes offerings, will be dear to parents, friends, attendants, relatives, and those related by blood, as well as to renunciates and brahmins. That bodhisattva will be dear to all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the bodhisattvas, the solitary Buddhas, the arhats, all those in training, and those beyond training, who reside in all the realms of the ten directions. He will be pleasing to the world with its gods, its demons, its Brahmās, the hosts of renunciates and brahmins, and all beings including gods, humans, and asuras. He will also possess unwavering confidence. He will also possess uninterrupted generosity, the Perfection of Giving. He will also possess uninterrupted morality, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom, the Perfection of Wisdom. He will also possess uninterrupted inner emptiness, and all emptiness up to the emptiness of the nature of non-things. He will also possess uninterrupted mindfulness, and perfect abandonments.

Any son or daughter of good family who holds, keeps, reads, fully understands, and properly attends to this Perfection of Wisdom, and also writes it down and honors, respects, esteems, and worships it with flowers, incense, perfumes, garlands, ointments, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, and flags, will fully obtain those qualities of this life and future lives, and will never be separated from the mind of all-knowingness. If a son or daughter of good family writes this Perfection of Wisdom on a scroll and keeps it, then, Kauśika, in that three-thousand great thousand world system, the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings who dwell there, who have entered properly into unsurpassed enlightenment, will come there and hold, keep, read, and fully understand this Perfection of Wisdom, and having prostrated and paid homage, will depart. The son or daughter of good family should also generate this thought: "May the sons of the gods abiding in the ten directions of the world, belonging to the retinue of the Four Great Kings, down to the Great Fruit, those who have truly entered into unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and the sons of the gods of the Pure Abodes, and also the gods, nāgas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas, who have come here, and having grasped, held, recited, and fully understood this Perfection of Wisdom, and having paid homage and made offerings, may they depart, and may this Dharma gift also be given to them." One should generate this thought. The sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings abiding in the ten directions of the world, and those who have truly entered into unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, down to the sons of the gods of Great Fruit, and the sons of the gods of the Pure Abodes, will also come here and hold, recite, and fully understand this Perfection of Wisdom, and having paid homage and bowed down, they will think of departing. The sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings abiding in this trichiliocosm, and those down to the sons of the gods of Akanishtha, and the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings abiding in the ten directions of the world, and those down to the gods of Akanishtha, also, the son or daughter of good family
