For the daughter of the earth, there is protection, rescue, and concealment, and no one who seeks an opportunity will find one, except for the ripening of karma. Kauśika. Those sons or daughters of good family will also fully possess the merits of this life. Why is that? It is because those sons or daughters of good family have rightly entered into the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, for the sake of protecting all sentient beings, for the sake of not abandoning all sentient beings, for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, and for the sake of making them happy. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, for the sake of grasping, holding, reciting, fully understanding, respecting, regarding as a teacher, writing, making offerings, paying homage, and prostrating to this Perfection of Wisdom, from the surrounding areas of the ten directions, the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings will come there, and even the sons of the gods of Akanistha will come there. How will those sons or daughters of good family realize this? The Blessed One said: Kauśika. If a son or daughter of good family experiences the scent of non-human gods that they have never experienced before, then they should know that those sons of the gods with great splendor have come here to listen to, grasp, hold, recite, practice, respect, regard as a teacher, write, and make offerings to this Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, if a son or daughter of good family performs purification, through that purification, those gods will come, and by grasping, holding, reciting, fully understanding, respecting, regarding as a teacher, writing, and making offerings to this Perfection of Wisdom, they will become satisfied. Those gods with lesser splendor in that direction, because they cannot endure the splendor and blessings of those gods with greater splendor, will think of departing from there.

So! The more those glorious and radiant gods come there, the more those sons or daughters of good family will have great faith. In that place, impure conduct should not be practiced; that place should be adorned with flowers, incense, perfumes, flower garlands, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, and flags, and it should be smeared with incense and scattered with loose flowers. Many silk streamers should be hung, and banners should be woven, and that place should be thoroughly decorated in various ways. Kauśika. Furthermore, the body of that son or daughter of good family will not become weary, the body will become comfortable, the body will become light, the body will become workable, the mind will be light, the mind will be workable, and the mind will experience comfort. After that, they will thoroughly contemplate the Perfection of Wisdom from the depths of their hearts, and they will not dream sinful dreams. In their dreams, they will see the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, the great being adorned with the thirty-two marks, with a golden-colored body, with the community of monks looking ahead, with the assembly of Bodhisattvas looking ahead, teaching the Dharma and abiding. From those Tathāgatas, they will hear the words endowed with the six perfections, they will hear the words endowed with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and with the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, they will hear the meaning of those perfections, up to the meaning of the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. They will also see the Bodhi tree. They will also see Bodhisattvas, great beings, going to the seat of enlightenment. They will also see the manifestation of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. There are hundreds of thousands of millions of Bodhisattvas.
