To give it a name would cause me regret. Thus he requested. Blessed One, that name is also without abiding, without reaching. Why cling to it? Because that name does not exist. Therefore, that name is without abiding, without reaching. Blessed One, if a Bodhisattva, when speaking of the Perfection of Wisdom, does not become discouraged, does not become utterly discouraged, does not regret, does not fear, does not dread, and does not become terrified, then that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, abiding in the manner of not abiding in the irreversible stage, should be known to necessarily arise into all-knowingness. Blessed One, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, does not abide in form. He does not abide in feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. He does not abide in the eye. He does not abide in the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. He does not abide in form. He does not abide in sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas. He does not abide in eye-consciousness. He does not abide in ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-consciousness. He does not abide in eye-contact. He does not abide in feeling caused by eye-contact. He does not abide in ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-contact. He does not abide in feeling caused by mind-contact. He does not abide in the earth element. He does not abide in the water element, fire element, wind element, space element, and consciousness element. He does not abide in ignorance. He does not abide in formations, consciousness, name and form, the six sense sources, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, becoming, birth, and old age and death. Why is that? Blessed One, because in this way, form is empty of form, and feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are empty of consciousness. Blessed One, the

It is wisdom! Formations and, consciousness and, name and form and, six sense sources and, contact and, feeling and, craving and, grasping and, existence and, birth and, old age and death are empty by old age and death. Whatever is the emptiness of old age and death, that is not old age and death, nor is there emptiness apart from old age and death, old age and death itself is emptiness, emptiness is also old age and death. World-Honored One, therefore, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, do not abide between ignorance and old age and death. World-Honored One, furthermore, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, do not abide in the mindfulnesses. Why is that? World-Honored One, thus, the mindfulnesses are empty by mindfulnesses. World-Honored One, whatever is the emptiness of the mindfulnesses, that is not the mindfulnesses, nor is there emptiness apart from the mindfulnesses, the mindfulnesses themselves are emptiness, emptiness is also the mindfulnesses. World-Honored One, therefore, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, do not abide in the mindfulnesses. Likewise, the right abandonments and, the feet of magical power and, the faculties and, the powers and, the limbs of enlightenment and, the path and, the noble truths and, the meditations and, the immeasurables and, the formless absorptions and, the eight liberations and, the nine successive abiding absorptions and, emptiness and, signlessness and, wishlessness and, clairvoyance and, the ten powers and, fearlessness and, the separate correct knowledges and, great love and great compassion and, do not abide in the unshared qualities of the Buddhas, etc. Why is that? Thus, the unshared qualities of the Buddhas are empty by the unshared qualities of the Buddhas. Whatever is the emptiness of the unshared qualities of the Buddhas, that is not the unshared qualities of the Buddhas, nor is there
