And, the nature of Dharma, and the realm of Dharma, and the abiding nature of Dharma, and the faultless nature of Dharma, and the ultimate truth. That itself is the Suchness of those who follow faith, and those who follow Dharma, and the eighth, and those who have entered the stream, and those who return once, and those who do not return, and the Arhats, and the solitary Buddhas, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and the Suchness that is not mistaken, and the Suchness that is not different, and the nature of Dharma, and the realm of Dharma, and the abiding nature of Dharma, and the faultless nature of Dharma, and the ultimate truth. All of these are the equality of Dharma, and it does not deviate from them. Why is that? Because, their Dharma nature, and the realm of Dharma, and the abiding nature of Dharma, and the faultless nature of Dharma, and the Suchness, and the Suchness that is not mistaken, and the Suchness that is not different, and the ultimate truth is that itself, and apart from these, there is nothing else called the equality of Dharma. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, if that is so, is the equality of Dharma of ordinary beings the same as the equality of Dharma of those who follow faith, and those who follow Dharma, and the eighth, and those who have entered the stream, and those who return once, and those who do not return, and the Arhats, and the solitary Buddhas, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and the equality of Dharma of the Tathagata Arhats, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas? Blessed One, if that is so, these Dharmas with different characteristics, such as form, feeling, perception, formation, consciousness, sense bases, elements, and dependent origination, and desire, and hatred, and ignorance, and all forms of views, and meditation, and immeasurables, and formless attainments, and the perfection of generosity, and the perfection of discipline, and the perfection of patience, and the perfection of diligence, and the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom, and the perfection of skillful means,

The earth, and also the nature of the Noble Eightfold Path are different. The Noble Truths, and the meditations, and the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, and the liberations, and the gradual abidings in absorption, and emptiness, and signlessness, and wishlessness, and the superknowledges, and the samadhis, and the doors of dharani also have different natures. The ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, and the fearlessnesses, and the individual perfect knowledges, and great love, and great compassion, and the natures of the Buddha's unshared qualities are also different. The thirty-two major marks of a great being and the eighty minor marks also have different natures. The nature of the conditioned realm and the nature of the unconditioned realm are also different. How, Blessed One, can the nature of phenomena with different characteristics become a single nature? How can phenomena be distinctly established? When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, where does he abide and distinguish phenomena? If phenomena are not distinguished, then even a Bodhisattva Mahasattva cannot practice the Perfection of Wisdom. So how can a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, ascend from ground to ground and enter without obstruction? How can he, having entered without obstruction, transcend the grounds of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas and perfect superknowledge? How can he sport with superknowledge and perfect the Perfection of Generosity, and the Perfection of Ethical Conduct, and the Perfection of Patience, and the Perfection of Diligence, and the Perfection of Meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom? And how can he, by sporting with them, go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field? To attend upon and honor the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones. And in those places also generate roots of virtue. With those roots of virtue, to fully ripen sentient beings. Buddha
