From those superknowledges, one should thoroughly seek enlightenment. When seeking it, with a pure and superhuman divine eye, one also sees all virtuous dharmas. Furthermore, one engages with all virtuous dharmas, but one does not become attached to those virtuous dharmas. Why is that? Because all those virtuous dharmas are empty in their essence. Since emptiness is something to which one cannot be attached or experience, one does not become attached, because emptiness is not something to be experienced. Thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, they accomplish the divine eye. With that divine eye, they see all dharmas as emptiness. They abide in those dharmas and accomplish deeds. With the deeds that have been accomplished, they teach the Dharma to sentient beings, without focusing on sentient beings or the concept of sentient beings. Thus, through the mode of non-focusing, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva accomplishes the Perfection of Superknowledge. With those superknowledges, they perform whatever dharmas can be accomplished through superknowledge. With that pure and superhuman divine eye, they see all the world realms of the eastern direction. Having gone to those realms through miraculous power, they engage in generosity, or ethics, or patience, or diligence, or meditation, or wisdom, or the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, or the doors of liberation—emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness—or meditations, or the immeasurables, or the formless absorptions, or the liberations, or the samadhis, or the successively abiding samadhis, or the powers of the Tathagata, or the fearlessnesses, or the separate perfect knowledges, or the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, or the dharmas of the Hearers, or the dharmas of the Solitary Buddhas, or the dharmas of the Bodhisattvas, or they benefit sentient beings through the dharmas of the Buddha, and they do the deeds of those sentient beings. To those sentient beings who are miserly, they teach the Dharma thus: Give alms! Poverty is suffering, because of poverty,

If I cannot accomplish my own benefit, what need to mention the benefit of others? Therefore, give alms and make me happy! Furthermore, make me happy! Oppressed by poverty, eating my own flesh, unable to escape from the three lower realms. Thus, he teaches the Dharma. To all those sentient beings who have bad morality, he teaches the Dharma thus: Hey, gentlemen, bad morality is suffering. Because bad morality cannot accomplish even one's own benefit, what need to mention the benefit of others? The result of bad morality is to be born in the hell realm, or the animal realm, or the world of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms, we cannot save you, what need to mention saving others? Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to the thought of bad morality. You will regret it later. Thus, he teaches the Dharma. To all those sentient beings who are mutually hostile, he teaches the Dharma thus: Do not be mutually hostile. If the mind is disturbed, no virtuous Dharma will arise. Therefore, if you are mutually disturbed, you will be born in the hell realm, or the animal realm, or the world of Yama. Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to the disturbed mind. You will regret it later. Thus, he teaches the Dharma. To all those lazy sentient beings, he teaches the Dharma thus: Hey, gentlemen, laziness is suffering. Because laziness cannot accomplish even one's own benefit, what need to mention the benefit of others? The result of laziness is to be born in the hell realm, or the animal realm, or the world of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms, we cannot save you, what need to mention saving others? Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to the thought of laziness. You will regret it later. Thus, he teaches the Dharma. To all those sentient beings whose minds are distracted, he teaches the Dharma thus: Hey, gentlemen, a distracted mind is suffering.

Furthermore, whatever is the fully ripened result of a distracted mind is either the hell of sentient beings, or the birthplace of animals, or the world of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms, we cannot even save ourselves, let alone save others? Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to a distracted mind. Whatever is the fully ripened result of corrupt wisdom is either the hell of sentient beings, or the birthplace of animals, or the world of Yama. Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to a mind of corrupt wisdom. You will regret it later! Thus he teaches the Dharma.
