Whatever man, do not perform any miracles showing them. Do not perform miracles showing that a boy or girl will exist like a god of the race, or will live long. Why is that? Subhuti, like this, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva does not truly see any characteristics in dharmas that are empty of their own nature, because he does not truly see characteristics, therefore harm is completely purified. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva endowed with those forms, those ways, and those characteristics should be known as irreversible. Furthermore, Subhuti, with what forms, what ways, and what characteristics should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva be known as irreversible? Please explain those forms, ways, and characteristics, listen very well and keep them in mind. "Venerable One, I will do so," replied the venerable Subhuti to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said to him: "Subhuti, here, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he is not separated from the thought of enlightenment, he does not dwell on striving for the combination of aggregates, he does not dwell on striving for the combination of sense bases, elements, and dependent origination. Why is that? Because, Subhuti, like this, that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has very much in mind the emptiness of aggregates, the emptiness of sense bases, the emptiness of elements, and the emptiness of dependent origination. He does not dwell on striving for the combination of bustle. Why is that? Because, Subhuti, like this, that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has very much in mind the emptiness of sentient beings. He does not dwell on striving for the combination of the king's talk. Why is that? Because, like this, he abides in the emptiness of nature, so he does not truly see any dharma as good or bad. He does not dwell on striving for the combination of thieves' talk.

Why is that? Because, in this way, all dharmas are empty of their own characteristics, so with respect to any dharma, taking or rejecting is not truly seen. He does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of war talk. Why is that? Because, in this way, he dwells in the emptiness of self-nature, so with respect to any dharma, little or much is not truly seen. He does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of army talk. Why is that? Because, in this way, he dwells in the suchness of all dharmas, so with respect to any dharma, love or hatred is not truly seen. He does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of village talk. Why is that? Because, in this way, he dwells in the emptiness of all dharmas, so with respect to any dharma, gathering or not gathering is not truly seen. He does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of city talk. Why is that? Because, in this way, he dwells in the emptiness of space, so with respect to any dharma, graspable or ungraspable is not truly seen. He does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of town talk. Why is that? Because, in this way, he dwells in the true limit, so with respect to any dharma, increasing or decreasing is not truly seen. He does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of talk of self, sentient beings, life, goers, nurturers, persons, individuals, powerful ones, lords of power, doers, feelers, knowers, and seers. Otherwise, he is diligent in the composition of the talk of the Perfection of Wisdom, and dwells inseparable from the attention that is endowed with all-knowingness. He practices the Perfection of Giving and does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of miserliness. He practices the Perfection of Ethics and does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of bad ethics. He practices the Perfection of Patience and does not dwell on being diligent in the composition of strife. He practices the Perfection of Diligence and does not dwell on being
