Its own nature does not come from anywhere, does not go anywhere, and will not remain anywhere. The Suchness of the Unconditioned, the Essence of the Unconditioned, and the Characteristics of the Unconditioned do not come from anywhere, do not go anywhere, and will not remain anywhere. Subhuti, thus, the Great Vehicle does not come, nor does it go, nor does it remain. Subhuti, however you say it, for that vehicle, neither the prior limit is visible, nor the posterior limit is visible, nor is the middle visible. This is the vehicle called the equality of the three times, and it is called the Great Vehicle. What is said is thus, it is thus, for this vehicle, neither the prior limit is visible, nor the posterior limit is visible, nor is the middle visible. This is the vehicle called the equality of the three times, therefore it is called the Great Vehicle. Why is that? Subhuti, it is like this: the past time is empty of the past time. The future time is empty of the future time. The present time is empty of the present time. The equality of the three times is also empty of the equality of the three times. The Great Vehicle is also empty of the Great Vehicle. The Bodhisattva is also empty of the Bodhisattva. Subhuti, in emptiness, there is nothing called one. There is nothing called two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, or ten. There is nothing called different. Therefore, this is the vehicle of equality of the Bodhisattvas, the Great Beings, in which neither equality nor inequality is visible. In it, neither desire nor absence of desire is visible. Neither hatred nor absence of hatred is visible. Neither delusion nor absence of delusion is visible. Neither name nor absence of name is visible. Neither conditioned nor unconditioned is visible. Neither virtue nor non-virtue is visible. Neither fault nor absence of fault is visible. Neither defilement nor absence of defilement is visible. Neither affliction nor absence of affliction is visible. Neither mundane nor supramundane is visible.
