When practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not fixate on "practicing." One does not fixate on "not practicing." One does not fixate on "practicing and also not practicing." One does not fixate on "neither practicing nor not practicing." Why is that? Because in this way, one has comprehended all phenomena as being without inherent existence and has not grasped them. Thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if the mind is not timid, not entirely timid, not afraid, not entirely afraid, and does not become entirely afraid, then, Venerable Sharadvatiputra, it should be known that that Bodhisattva Mahasattva has drawn near to the All-Knowingness. That All-Knowingness is also non-dual and indivisible because all phenomena are without intrinsic nature. That is the Samadhi of Bodhisattva Mahasattvas called the Unbornness of All Phenomena, which is vast, supreme, determined to be immeasurable, and cannot be stolen by all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. A Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices with that Samadhi will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. The Blessed One said: "Venerable Subhuti, is it only through this Samadhi that a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Or are there other such Samadhis?" Subhuti said: "Venerable Sharadvatiputra, by practicing other Samadhis as well, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva will quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." The Blessed One said: "Venerable Subhuti, through which other Samadhis does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment?" Subhuti said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the three...
