Is it the perception of a male? Is it the perception of an individual? Is it the perception of a strong person? Is it the perception of something fabricated? Is it the perception of a doer? Is it the perception of someone who causes doing? Is it the perception of a beggar? Is it the perception of someone who causes begging? Is it the perception of a feeler? Is it the perception of someone who causes feeling? Is it the perception of a knower? The perception of a seer is completely unborn. Having abandoned that which is wavering, arrogance, similarity, and these elaborations, with a mind free from elaboration, one should closely cultivate and practice extensively. Subhuti, in this way, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he himself does not cling to any dharma, and he skillfully establishes all beings in non-clinging. This is not the meaning of conventional truth. Reporting: World Honored One, the dharma that the Tathagata has manifestly and perfectly awakened to, is it manifestly and perfectly awakened to in conventional truth, or is it manifestly and perfectly awakened to in ultimate truth? The World Honored One said: The Tathagata has manifestly and perfectly awakened to this dharma. The statement that this dharma has manifestly and perfectly awakened to such and such a dharma does not exist. Why is that? For example, the statement that this dharma has manifestly and perfectly awakened to such and such a dharma does not exist, because neither of the two can be obtained or realized. Reporting: World Honored One, if neither of the two can be obtained or realized, then is it obtained and realized by what is not two? The World Honored One said: Neither of the two can be obtained or realized, nor can it be obtained and realized by what is not two. That which is neither two nor not two is called obtaining and realizing. Why is that? For example, this is obtaining, this is realizing, these are elaborations, because there is no elaboration in the equality of dharmas.

E, non-elaboration is the equality of Dharma. Petitioner: Blessed One, for all those natures of Dharma that do not have substance, what is to be done by the equality of Dharma? The Blessed One said: Whatever is without substance, and also not without substance, without self-nature, and completely inexpressible, this is the equality of Dharma. That equality of Dharma is inexpressible. Apart from the equality of Dharma, there is also no Dharma that can be observed. The equality of Dharma is completely different from all Dharmas. The equality of Dharma cannot be known by children, noble ones, or any Dharma, and it is not an object. Petitioner: Blessed One, is that equality of Dharma not also the realm of the Tathagata? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the equality of Dharma is not the realm of all noble ones, whether it is a stream-enterer, a once-returner, a non-returner, an Arhat, a Pratyekabuddha, a Bodhisattva, or a Tathagata. Petitioner: Blessed One, is the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, not the master of all Dharmas? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, if the equality of Dharma were something else, and the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha were something else, then the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha would be the master of all Dharmas. Subhuti, whatever is the equality of Dharma of ordinary beings, whatever is the equality of Dharma of stream-enterers, whatever is the equality of Dharma of once-returners, whatever is the equality of Dharma of non-returners, whatever is the equality of Dharma of Arhats, whatever is the equality of Dharma of Pratyekabuddhas, whatever is the equality of Dharma of Bodhisattvas, and whatever is the equality of Dharma of Tathagatas, that is the same equality, there is no difference between equality and non-equality. Therefore, whatever is the equality of ordinary beings and all noble ones
