Having done so, they will manifestly and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. If conditioned phenomena emptiness were not empty of inherent existence, then bodhisattvas, great beings, would also not manifestly and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Subhuti, because conditioned phenomena emptiness is empty of inherent existence, therefore bodhisattvas, great beings, having understood that conditioned phenomena emptiness is empty of inherent existence, will manifestly and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. If unconditioned phenomena emptiness were not empty of inherent existence, then bodhisattvas, great beings, would also not manifestly and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment.
