If even the 'I' itself is to be destroyed, then the emptiness of inherent existence will not be destroyed; it is not permanent, nor is it going to annihilation. Why is that? Because it does not abide in a place, it does not abide in a direction. It does not come from anywhere, nor does it go anywhere; that is the abiding of phenomena. In it, no phenomenon is seen as increasing, nor is any seen as decreasing, nor is any seen as declining, nor is any seen as being born, nor is any seen as arising, nor is any seen as ceasing, nor is any seen as being completely afflicted, nor is any seen as being completely purified. That is the nature of phenomena, and abiding in it, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas also correctly enter into unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment; they do not see any phenomenon as entering or not entering. All phenomena are without entering and without abiding; that is the dharmata of phenomena. Therefore, when Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas practice the Perfection of Wisdom, seeing all phenomena as empty of inherent existence, they do not turn back from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Why is that? Because they do not truly see any obscuring phenomenon; they truly see all phenomena as unobscured. This is because in the emptiness of inherent existence, they do not fixate on self, nor do they fixate on the imputation of self, they do not fixate on sentient beings, nor do they fixate on the imputation of sentient beings, they do not fixate on life, nor do they fixate on the imputation of life, they do not fixate on goers, nor do they fixate on the imputation of goers, they do not fixate on nourishers, nor do they fixate on the imputation of nourishers, they do not fixate on persons, nor do they fixate on the imputation of persons, they do not fixate on individuals, nor do they fixate on the imputation of individuals, they do not fixate on the powerful, nor do they fixate on the imputation of the powerful, they do not fixate on lords of power, nor do they fixate on the imputation of lords of power, they do not fixate on agents, nor do they fixate on the imputation of agents, they do not fixate on experiencers, nor do they fixate on the imputation of experiencers, they do not fixate on the act of experiencing, nor do they fixate on the imputation of the act of experiencing, they do not fixate on beggars, nor do they fixate on the imputation of beggars.
