For what should one practice in Bodhi? If one attains complete enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect Bodhi and becomes a Buddha, one thinks that in any case, one must teach the Dharma without pervasive wandering of permanence, or bliss, or self, or suffering. Endowed with such a mind of enlightenment, by skillfully practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not perfect the ten powers of the Tathagata, does not perfect the four fearlessnesses, does not perfect the four analytical knowledges, does not perfect the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, does not perfect great loving-kindness, does not perfect great compassion, and does not manifest the ultimate reality. At that time, even though a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of the gate of liberation of emptiness, the gate of liberation of signlessness, and the gate of liberation of wishlessness, until one manifests unsurpassed, perfect Bodhi and becomes a Buddha, one does not manifest the ultimate reality. Furthermore, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thinks thus: These sentient beings have long been attached to objects of focus, namely, what is called self, or sentient being, or life, or goer, or nourisher, or person, or individual, or powerful one, or lord of power, or maker, or feeler, or knower, or seer, or form, or feeling, or perception, or formation, or consciousness, or aggregate, or element, or source, or dependent origination, or the perfection of generosity, or the perfection of ethics, or the perfection of patience, or the perfection of diligence, or the perfection of meditation, or the perfection of wisdom, or inner emptiness, or outer emptiness, or inner-outer emptiness, or emptiness of emptiness, or great emptiness.

When it is not completely fulfilled, the true limit will not appear. At that time, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will completely practice the samadhi of the emptiness liberation gate, the signless liberation gate, and the wishless liberation gate.
