Those who are diligent in going to the other shore should know that it is because of past roots of virtue that they have approached the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, the sons of the gods, as many as have seen the Buddhas in the past, having seen those omens of that Bodhisattva Mahasattva, also thought that when the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas of the past were prophesied, these omens also appeared. Therefore, this Bodhisattva Mahasattva will soon be prophesied to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. They will be joyful, happy, at ease, and comfortable in body and mind. World Honored One, just as now, the closer a pregnant woman gets to giving birth, the more her body changes. The more she weakens, tires, becomes displeased, loses her appetite, and her drowsiness and sleep decrease. With discomfort in body and mind, she speaks less, has no state of reliance, and is not like before. She cherishes reliance and closeness in her mind, and therefore experiences such feelings. The more other women see the signs of that woman, the more they know that this woman will soon give birth. World Honored One, similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who now generates roots of virtue, attends to and honors many Buddhas, practices virtuous conduct, is embraced by virtuous friends, and whose roots of virtue are fully matured, will also rejoice in this profound Prajnaparamita. Having rejoiced, if they can hold, recite, understand, and properly contemplate it, World Honored One, it should be known that these Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will soon be prophesied to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. The World Honored One said: Son of Sharadvati, well done! Well done! Son of Sharadvati, your confidence is born from the power of the Buddha. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the World Honored One: World Honored One, the Tathagata, the Arhat...

The Buddhas who have attained perfect and complete enlightenment, it is truly wonderful how well they hold these Bodhisattva Mahasattvas! The Blessed One said: Subhuti, in this way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas enter into the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment for the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, for the love of the world, and for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of the great assembly of gods and humans. When they practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva, they benefit hundreds and thousands of sentient beings through the four means of gathering. What are these four? They are generosity, kind speech, beneficial action, and consistent action. Through these, they encourage sentient beings to engage in the path of the ten virtuous actions. I also enter into the first dhyana, and I also encourage others to enter into the first dhyana. I also enter into the second dhyana, and I also encourage others to enter into the second dhyana. I also enter into the third dhyana, and I also encourage others to enter into the third dhyana. I also enter into the fourth dhyana, and I also encourage others to enter into the fourth dhyana. I also enter into the samadhi of loving-kindness, and I also encourage others to enter into the samadhi of loving-kindness. I also enter into the samadhi of compassion, and I also encourage others to enter into the samadhi of compassion. I also enter into the samadhi of joy, and I also encourage others to enter into the samadhi of joy. I also enter into the samadhi of equanimity, and I also encourage others to enter into the samadhi of equanimity. I also enter into the sphere of infinite space, and I also encourage others to enter into the sphere of infinite space. I also enter into the sphere of infinite consciousness, and I also encourage others to enter into the sphere of infinite consciousness. I also enter into the sphere of nothingness, and I also encourage others to enter into the sphere of nothingness. I also enter into the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception.
