The Blessed One said: Because of the emptiness that transcends limits, and the emptiness that has no beginning and no end. Asked: Blessed One, because of all the limits of self, are all the limits of formations also infinite? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because of being extremely pure. Asked: Blessed One, for what reason is the purity of all the limits of formations due to the all-encompassing limits of self? The Blessed One said: Because of the emptiness that transcends limits, and the emptiness that has no beginning and no end. Asked: Blessed One, because of all the limits of self, are all the limits of consciousness also infinite? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because of being extremely pure. Asked: Blessed One, for what reason is the purity of all the limits of consciousness due to the all-encompassing limits of self?
