He reported: Blessed One, for the sake of my complete boundlessness, perception is completely boundless. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because it is extremely pure. He reported: Blessed One, for what reason is perception completely boundless and pure because of my complete boundlessness? The Blessed One said: Because of emptiness that transcends boundaries, and because of emptiness that has no beginning and no end. He reported: Blessed One, for the sake of my complete boundlessness, formation is completely boundless. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because it is extremely pure. He reported: Blessed One, for what reason is formation completely boundless and pure because of my complete boundlessness? The Blessed One said: Because of emptiness that transcends boundaries, and because of emptiness that has no beginning and no end. He reported: Blessed One, for the sake of my complete boundlessness, consciousness is completely boundless. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, because it is extremely pure.
