Nor should it be sought. Nor should it be sought elsewhere than in the samādhis. Why is that? Kauśika, it is because all those things, whether they are the samādhis, or the bodhisattva, or the prajñāpāramitā, or the dharma that is sought, are neither existent nor non-existent. Without form, invisible, unimpeded, of one characteristic, that is, without characteristic. Furthermore, Kauśika, the prajñāpāramitā of the bodhisattva mahāsattva should not be sought in the gateways of dhāraṇīs. Nor should it be sought elsewhere than in the gateways of dhāraṇīs. One, that is, thus without characteristics. Kauśika, again, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with the Perfection of Wisdom, should not seek from the various perfect knowledges, nor should he seek elsewhere than from the various perfect knowledges. Why is that? Kauśika, it is because thus, whatever the various perfect knowledges are, and whatever the Bodhisattva is, and whatever the Perfection of Wisdom is, and whatever the seeking is, all these dharmas are neither concordant nor discordant, without form, without sight, without obstruction, one characteristic, that is, thus without characteristics. And whatever is the Perfection of Wisdom, and whatever is the sought-after Dharma, all those are neither connected nor unconnected. Without form, invisible, unimpeded, of one characteristic, thus without characteristics. Kauśika. Furthermore, the Perfection of Wisdom of a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva should not be sought in omniscience itself, nor should it be sought elsewhere than in omniscience itself. Why is that?
