And not fully grasping the eight unmixed liberations, and furthermore, in order not to grasp all phenomena, not fully grasping the fruit of stream-entry, not fully grasping the fruit of once-returning, not fully grasping the fruit of non-returning, not fully grasping arhatship itself, not fully grasping self-awakening, and knowing the aspects of the path not fully grasping, and not fully grasping omniscience, and furthermore, in order not to grasp all phenomena, not grasping suchness, and not grasping unerring suchness, and not grasping other-than suchness, and not grasping the nature of phenomena, and not grasping the realm of phenomena, and not grasping the abiding nature of phenomena, and not grasping the faultless nature of phenomena, and not grasping the ultimate limit, this is the perfection of wisdom of the bodhisattva mahasattva. Blessed One, furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva engages in the perfection of wisdom, in this way, what is the perfection of wisdom? Whose is this perfection of wisdom? What is this perfection of wisdom? Why is it called the perfection of wisdom? One should fully investigate this. When a bodhisattva mahasattva engages in the perfection of wisdom, if one engages in this way: Is that which is not existent and not observable among all phenomena the perfection of wisdom? Then one is not engaging in the perfection of wisdom. Then the venerable Sharadvatiputra said this to the venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, which phenomena are non-existent and unobservable? Subhuti said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, emptiness emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, limitlessness emptiness, beginningless and endless
