Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the dhyānas. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the doors of dhāraṇīs. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the ten powers of the Tathāgata. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the four fearlessnesses. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the four analytical knowledges. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of great loving-kindness. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of great compassion. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddhas. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of suchness. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the element of dharma. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the limit of reality. Why is that? Because when a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not regard any dharma as different, distinct, or special. Sharadvatīputra, such practice by a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva is called diligence in the Perfection of Wisdom. He does not practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the divine eye. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the divine ear. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of knowing the minds of others. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of remembering former abodes. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the forms of magical display. Nor does he practice the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements. Why is that? Because when he practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not even truly see the Perfection of Wisdom itself, let alone the Bodhisattva. How could the object of all aspects of omniscience arise? Sharadvatīputra, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva
