It was pervaded by great light. In the northwest direction, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. In the lower direction, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. In the upper direction, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. Any sentient being who sees that light, and wherever that light touches, all of them will definitely attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, again, the Blessed One emitted rays of light from all the pores of his skin, and that light also pervaded this three-thousand-great-thousand world system with great light. In the east, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. In the south, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. In the west, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. In the north, it was pervaded by the great light of worlds as many as the sands of the Ganges. In the south, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the west, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the north, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the northeast direction, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the southeast direction, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the southwest direction, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the northwest direction, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the downward direction, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. In the upward direction, he pervaded countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River with great light. Any sentient being who sees that light, or is touched by that light, all of them will definitely attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, the Bhagavan extended his tongue from the gateway of his face, and having pervaded this entire three-thousand great thousand world system with his tongue, he smiled. From that tongue also, countless hundreds of thousands of millions of rays of various colors emerged, and in all those rays, there were many lotuses, born from various precious substances, appearing golden in color, possessing a thousand petals, gathered in various ways, pleasing to behold, delightful, of excellent color, fragrant, soft, and comfortable to the touch like a Kacalindika, all abiding everywhere. In those lotuses also, many bodies of the Tathagata resided. This is to say, they taught this very Dharma, which possesses the six perfections. They went to countless worlds like the sands of the Ganges River in the eastern direction.
