We should purify. We should sprinkle water. We should bless, having purified, hidden, and blessed, having done so, it is called a completed action. Even if other monks have come, shares should not be given to them. If this is not done, that monk should not wear that robe alone. If taken, it becomes a transgression. Those monks also have the same right, but if he alone, having blessed it for the sake of the Sangha, takes it from outside the boundary, it becomes a minor offense. If a thieving mind arises, it becomes a transgression. In short: The son of a householder, etc., those who have manifested in the summer retreat, the past and the future monks, thus the summer retreat is broken. If the son of a householder shaves his head, should one take the robe from him? Should one not take it? The Blessed One taught: One should not take it. Even if this robe is offered to the Sangha in summer retreat, but it is not the last month of the summer retreat, nor has the foundation been laid in that place, even if it is not the last month of the summer retreat, nor has the foundation been laid in that place, those in summer retreat still have the right to that robe. If it is asked whether this robe belongs to the present Sangha, it also becomes the last month of the summer retreat, and the foundation has been laid in that place, even if it is the last month and the foundation has been laid in that place, those who have not stayed there in the summer retreat also have the right to that robe. If this robe is offered to the Sangha gathered in the presence, if a monk stays here in the following year, stays again, stays three times, likewise, should one give to those who stay up to ten times in the following year? It has become the last month of the summer retreat, and the foundation has also been laid. Even if it has become the last month of the summer retreat, those to whom it is given have the right, one should speak extensively from the first and second months up to the tenth month. If a monk, staying in a summer retreat, goes outside the boundary for the sake of the Sangha, from where should the share of his summer retreat be given? For what reason did he go, and where did he stay for a long time? Should the share of the robe be given to those whose summer retreat has been broken? Should it be given to some people?

It should not be given to some. To whom should it be given? It should be given to those who have a beginning and an end, and who will abide for a long time. To whom should it not be given? It should not be given to those who have neither a beginning nor an end, and who will not abide for a long time. In short, it is for the sake of the sick person, having become a caregiver, giving appropriate help and teachings. How should wealth be properly managed? If a monk is caring for a sick person and has gone beyond the boundary for some purpose, and the sick person dies after the monk has gone beyond the boundary, should the clothes be given to the caregiver or not? It should be given to some, and not given to others. To whom should it be given? It should be given to those who are busy for the sake of the sick person. It should not be given to those who are busy for their own sake or for the sake of others. If a householder is caring for a sick person, should clothes be given or not? It is said: Do not give. Bhikshunis, Shramaneras, and Shikshamanas are also not given in the same way. If a Shramanera is caring for a sick person, should he be given the caregiver's clothes or not? It is said: Give it. How much should be given? It should be given equally to all. If a caregiver has entered retreat elsewhere, should he be given the caregiver's clothes or not? The Blessed One said: Give it. Who should take care of the sick person? The Khenpo, the Acharya, the same Khenpo, the same Acharya, the speaker, the universal speaker, the teacher, the fellow practitioner, the disciple. If there are none of these, the Sangha should appoint someone to take care of the sick person. If the Sangha has not appointed someone to take care of the sick person, then he is already dead. If the caregiver does not take care of the sick person, he will commit a wrong deed. If the sick person does not listen to the caregiver's Dharma-like instructions, he will also commit a wrong deed. The same is true for the sick person. How long should one care for the sick person? Until the sick person dies, or until he recovers. One should abandon what is unhelpful, and accomplish what is helpful. One should also not neglect things, and by giving teachings, from where to start receiving, and how to bless the clothes?
