"Holder of Sound," do you want sugarcane? He said: Blessed One, I want it. Then, the Blessed One cut off a piece from his own share and gave it to them. The monastic community of monks did the work of sugarcane. When they came to the monastery, the venerable Holder of Sound, in order to pay homage to the feet of the Blessed One, came to the Blessed One. The Blessed One asked: Venerable Holder of Sound, are you satisfied with the food of sugarcane? He replied: Blessed One, how could we be satisfied when you said to give us one-third of our gains? The Blessed One said: Therefore, it is now satisfied. The Blessed One gathered the monastic community of monks and said to the monks: I have given the gain of clothing, give one-third to the novice fathers, but the gain of food should be divided equally. When it is small, even the leaves of the seedling should be divided equally. If it is divided from small to large, it will become something that has passed away. The story took place when he was in Shravasti. When he was in Shravasti, a householder who lived there went to Jeta Grove from time to time, and a monk extensively and pleasantly explained to him the seven objects of merit arising from wealth. He developed faith and built a monastery. He would immediately provide food for the monks who lived there. He gave them some karshapanas for the cost of food. They said: Venerable ones, we go for alms, we are busy with Dharma robes, not with food. The karshapanas are divided for the sake of Dharma robes. The monks vowed that none of us should go to that householder's house. Then, after some time, an almsman traveling around went to Shravasti. He came to that householder's monastery, and the monks let him rest, gave him lodging and bedding, and he thought, today I will rest and eat a meal, and tomorrow I will go for alms. As he was thinking and sitting, the other monks who were staying there took their bowls and Dharma robes and went for alms.

Coming, the beggar thought: If the monks living in the monastery are so poor, I will become like that too, I will go begging. So, he took the bowl, Dharma robe, key, crooked key, and latch, and gradually begged in Shravasti, coming to that house. That person said to him: Are you well? He laid out a seat, bowed to his feet with his head, and sat in front of him. He sat in front of him, and that person told him about the seven merits of virtue arising from wealth. That householder said: Holy one, I have done all of that. The beggar said: Householder, you have not given anything at all, because there was no food in your monastery in the first place. He said: Holy one, what are you saying? I have offered a lot, Holy one, did you go to another place and make a mistake? The beggar said: Householder, do you know the key and the crooked key of the monastery? Holy one, I know. He showed the key and the crooked key. He said: Holy one, you have kept this matter in your heart, after saying that, the beggar took the key and went back. That householder also followed him to the monastery, sat there, and saw how many monks came back with begging, after seeing that, he said: Holy ones, where did you come from? They said: Householder, in order to generate faith in the realm of practice. Holy one, where is Karshapana (Sanskrit: Karshapana)? Householder, it is in the room, take it out and enjoy it. They took it out and gave it to him. He said: Now go and generate faith in the realm of practice. They did not have the courage, and sat there without saying a word. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said: Monks, it is wrong to rebuke that householder, therefore do not distribute in four ways. That is for all stupas, for all the Sangha of the four directions, for all medical expenses, and for all regular food. The origin of the story is in Shravasti, the six groups of monks travel and beg, constellations...

At the slightest dawn, they went to a monastery. Those monks let them rest and sit down in a place they liked. They said, 'What are you doing here, venerable ones? Are you going to destroy the Dharma while the Teacher is still alive? Why don't you allocate the beds according to seniority?' They thus began to allocate the beds according to seniority, and the newcomers were not allocated, and it dawned. After it dawned, they got up and said, 'Venerable ones, we are leaving, give up the beds.' The monks said, 'Venerable ones, you have harmed the entire Sangha for a moment's stay.' They said, 'This is the Teacher's decree.' Thus it happened, and the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed, 'Monks, do not allocate beds before the stars rise. If you allocate them, it constitutes a transgression. Even if you allocate beds, do not allocate them. If you allocate them, it constitutes a transgression.' This is the seventh verse of the Sutra of the Four Solitary Doors. In short, grapes and another kind of fruit, and things that can be burned are also the same. Stoves, lamps, saplings, are all permitted by the great sage. The Buddha, the Blessed One, traveling from place to place, went to Rohitaka and stayed at the residence of the Yaksha of Rohitaka, named Balavṛddhi (Possessor of a Bull's Strength). Then, the Yaksha Balavṛddhi went to where the Blessed One was, prostrated his head at the feet of the Blessed One, and said, 'Venerable one, would you allow me to stay in my residence tonight together with the Sangha of monks?' Then, the Blessed One silently assented to the Yaksha Balavṛddhi. When the Yaksha Balavṛddhi knew that the Blessed One had assented, he conjured up five hundred monasteries, as well as five hundred beds with inner linings, mats, and square pillows. He also conjured up five hundred braziers filled with smokeless firewood. Then, he assigned a large monastery to the Blessed One, and the rest to the monks. After assigning the remainder of the monasteries to the monks, he went to where the Blessed One was,
