Then, (someone) bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, would you please accept an invitation to my house tomorrow for a meal together with the Sangha of monks?" The Blessed One remained silent, thus, the Yaksha Balagrandha did not speak, indicating his acceptance. A friend of the Yaksha Balagrandha, in the land of Kashmir, there was a person named Yaksha Uniko, who sent a message to (Balagrandha) saying: "Tomorrow I will invite the Blessed One and the Sangha of Shravaka monks for a meal, please send some fruits picked from the northern forest." So, he filled containers with grapes, Nepali apples, peaches, etc., and sent them to the Yaksha's hand. The Yaksha piled them up in the clean ground of the monastery. The monks asked the Blessed One: "Blessed One, what is this?" The Blessed One replied: "Monks, these are fruits from the northern forest." The monks asked: "What should we do with them?" The Blessed One replied: "Roast them with fire and eat them." The monks roasted them one by one. The Blessed One said: "Pile them up and roast them with three or four sources of fire, and they will be roasted." The monks roasted them and distributed them to the Sangha, and some were left over. The monks did not know what to do, and the Blessed One said: "Crush them all, soak them in water, then filter them with a sieve, and drink them as a beverage in the afternoon." They distributed (the juice) as a beverage in the afternoon, but some still remained, and the Blessed One said: "Boil it and leave it, and distribute it as a beverage the next day." The story took place in Shravasti. As winter approached, the monks felt cold, so they were warming themselves on a stove. The stove broke, and the Blessed One said: "Do not warm yourselves on the stove, warm yourselves in a brazier." They warmed themselves in a brazier, and it smoked. The Blessed One said: "Use the brazier outside, where there is no smoke inside, and use firewood as you please." The story took place in Shravasti.

That. A craftsman gave the monks an oil lamp tree with only one branch, but they did not accept it. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: If the Sangha can accept a lamp tree with only one branch, then give it to the Sangha. It can also be given to an individual. But those with two or more branches are only given to the Sangha, not to individuals. The eighth verse of the Sutra of the Four Single Doors. In short, two sudden actions, and the other shore of the river, and actions that should not be done too much, and the measure of the body is the Dharma robe. When the Buddha, the Blessed One, was in Shravasti, he was residing in the Jetavana Anathapindika Garden. Some monks who arrived suddenly entered the monastery, and the monks who were staying there allowed them to rest. After they had rested, they stole everything there and ran away. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Do not let those you do not know rest. After the Blessed One instructed not to let those you do not know rest, he let someone he knew rest, and afterwards an unknown monk came. After that monk went out, he began to take his bowl and Dharma robe. The monk who was staying there thought: This must be his friend, so he did not stop him, and that person took the things and ran away. Later, when that monk returned, he did not see the Dharma robe and bowl, and said: Venerable one, who took my bowl and Dharma robe? The monk who was staying there said: Your friend took it. He said: I don't know any friend, you lost my bowl and Dharma robe, you compensate me. He and the monk who was staying there began to argue with each other. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Ask the monk who arrived suddenly who he is. If that

If he says, "I know that monk," then ask that monk, "That is, do you give or not give the bowl and robe, or anything of mine, if you want it?" If he says, "Don't give it," then assess the value and pay it back. If he says, "Give it," but takes it, then it's taken. This incident occurred in Shravasti. A monk who came unexpectedly was given rest by a monk who was staying in the monastery, and then another monk who did not know him came. After a while, the monk who was staying in the monastery went outside to discard his tooth wood. Then, that person took his bowl and robe. The monks who came unexpectedly thought, "This person is also someone who used to live here," so they didn't say anything. That person took the things and ran away. When the monk who was staying in the monastery returned, he didn't see the bowl and robe, so he said, "Venerable ones, who took my bowl and robe?" They said, "The one who was staying in the room took it." "Who is staying in my room? You took the bowl and robe, pay me back!" The two of them started arguing. The monks told the Blessed One about this. The Blessed One said, "The monk who came unexpectedly should ask the monk who is staying in the monastery, 'If this monk wants anything of yours, do you give it or not?' If he says 'Don't give it,' then pay according to the value. If he says 'Give it,' but takes it, then it's taken." This incident occurred in Shravasti. A monk left his robe with a monk who was staying in the monastery and left a will, "If my disciples come after I leave and want it, then give it to them." After saying that, he left. One of his disciples took the robe and ran away. That monk asked for it back, and they argued with each other. The monks told the Blessed One about this. The Blessed One said, "If he says 'Give it to the disciple,' then his taking it is considered taking it, but if there is a reason, then give it."
