Explanation of the Four Solitary Doors. Explanation of the Four Solitary Doors. In brief: seeds, a pot, a thief stealing, and physical contact are similar. Fruitful salt is lost, molasses tree and grapes, sudden arrival and dwelling. In short: seeds, fragments, vehicles, boats, burdens and milk, merchants are similar. From crows, bees, cooking and divination, four lotuses (Upali) are sufficient, knowing everything. When the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was residing in the Bamboo Grove of Kalanda in Rajagriha, King Bimbisara offered a thousand pots of sown seeds. At that time, the monks ate from them and abandoned the fields, turning them into a place of kusha grass. Then, King Bimbisara went outside and saw these things. He said to the minister, "Who has abandoned all the fields like this, turning them into a place of kusha grass?" The minister replied, "The gods offered a thousand pots of sown seeds, and those who accepted them, have you seen them?" The king asked, "Didn't those noble ones give a share?" They said to the monks. After this happened, the monks reported to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan instructed, "The fields of the Sangha should be divided into shares." The monks divided them. The farmers said, "We have taken all the fertile fields, but they have not taken a share." After this happened, the monks reported to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan instructed, "Take the share of the fields." The monks took them and placed them there. The Bhagavan instructed, "Move the share to the temple." Previously, the farmer himself moved it there. Then, the Bhagavan instructed, "Let the owner of the field move it there first." When they were planting, it was also stolen. After this happened, the monks reported to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan instructed, "Appoint monks to guard it." Planting in the cart, the cart broke, but the monk did not help. The householder became unhappy and said, "These noble ones are yours, why don't you help?"

Do not do that. He said, "The Blessed One has not permitted it." After this happened, the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed, "Except for the land where livestock are raised on a cart, help there and be a farmer's helper." Another monk became ill, and the cart drivers said, "Please ride on the cart." He was doubtful and did not ride. The Blessed One instructed, "If you are ill, ride on the cart. Do not doubt this." In the boat, because of creating a harmonious part, the boat was also damaged, and the monks did not help. A householder was unhappy and said, "This is yours, why don't you help?" They said, "The Blessed One has not permitted it." After this happened, the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed, "Except for the boat's reward, give help and be a farmer's helper." Another monk was walking by the river, and because he was ill, he heard someone say, "Please enter this boat." He was doubtful and did not enter. After this happened, the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed, "Except for the reward, do not doubt entering the boat." Furthermore, because of carrying a load, the rope broke. He said, "Please put this down." The monks were doubtful and did not put it down. After this happened, the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed, "Put it down." After the monks put it down, they did not lift it up again. The Blessed One instructed, "Lift it up as you put it down." Whichever god's door is thrown away and falls, or is taken without being given and is stolen, the Blessed One instructed, "Put it inside." The monk did not know who to put it inside, and the Blessed One instructed, "By a householder." If there is no householder, then by a novice monk. If there is no novice monk either, the Blessed One instructed, "We ourselves put it inside." After the monks put it inside, thinking 'I put it in,' they did not eat it. After this happened, the monks requested the Blessed One.

After the request, the Blessed One said, "Do not doubt this, eat! In the copper pot of the Sangha, a great fire is burning, and milk and so on are boiling. What can be done is to go out to urinate." The Blessed One said, "Do not go outside! If something happens and you go outside, bring back the unclean things! However, like that, excrement." The Blessed One said, "Remove the wood ashes!" Even if the wood ashes are removed, there is still excrement. The Blessed One said, "Cover it with the edge of the monastic robe!" Even if it becomes excrement, stir it yourself with a spoon. Monks, I allow this for the poor, do not use it when you are not poor! If you use it, it will become a downfall. Similarly, medicine should also be stirred by a novice or someone who lives somewhere! If it also goes outside, deal with it according to the previous method. The origin of the story is in Shravasti. Many merchants invited the Buddha and the Sangha of monks to a meal. They prepared the food, moved it to a warm place, and before it was offered, the shop caught fire and they went to put out the fire. When it was noon, the monks told the Blessed One what had happened. The Blessed One said, "Because their minds have completely given it up, monks, do not doubt this, eat! After eating, bless it when the northern sound is unpleasant." In the warm place of the Sangha, a crow's beak touched the food. The monks became suspicious and did not eat the food. The monks told the Blessed One what had happened. The Blessed One said, "The remnants of the beak, do not doubt this, eat!" The food in the monks' bowls was touched by a crow, and they did not eat that food. The Blessed One said, "The remnants of its beak, do not doubt, eat!" Venerable Namdru doubted everything, so he was called "Doubter Namdru, Doubter Namdru." He came to the toilet and saw a bee. Later he saw a similar one again.
